Sounds like Creepshow really sticks to the spirit of the movies which expected when I heard Nicotero was involved.

Yeah man it’s the same spirit of the movies. Obviously not the same money but it has that tone. Feels like a warm blanket and I’m not even nostalgic for the first creepshow

My theaters are showing it for one show a night the next three nights...id love to go but im working...since its so limited will it drop digitally sometime in Oct tho?
It definitely will soon, not sure about the date. Rob Zombie is more of a cult following for his limited release movies. I'll look up to see about more info when the digital drop will be.

Stephen King + Joe Hill = :demoncowboy:

Movie looks dope, the screenplay and direction is by the guy who did Cube and Splice too? That's promising.

:mjtf: That's not even what the article was about. :gucci::deadmanny:
You are letting your Rob Zombie hate cloud your judgement. He didn't hate the movies, he hated the Weinsteins, their involvement and the overall process for creating the movie. RZ's Halloween were decent watches, 1 and 2.

I thought the first one was decent but struggled to even get through the second. Hearing how much interference was involved makes some sense though, because I think most of RZ's output has been in that decent range but I really hate his Halloween sequel.

The official digital release date is October 14th. I had a feeling he was planning to drop before Halloween day.
-It’s now been revealed that a home release of the film which stars Danny Trejo, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, Richard Brake, Dee Wallace and Sid Haig is on the cards – and it’ll be out in time for Halloween.

3 From Hell will arrive on October 14 on Blu-ray, DVD and digital download through Lionsgate UK and will come with a 95-minute making-of documentary titled To Hell And Back and audio commentary from Zombie himself.

The synopsis for the film reads: “After barely surviving a furious shootout with the police, Baby Firefly, Otis Driftwood and Captain Spaulding are behind bars. But pure evil cannot be contained.

“Teaming up with Otis’ half-brother Wilson, the demented Firelfly clan are back to unleash a whole new wave of death and depravity.

“A firestorm of murder, madness and mayhem will be released in this terror ride to hell and back.”

The article was about how miserable a time he had while filming the two Halloween movies because of the involvement of the Weinsteins.

Haunt (2019) - IMDb

I wanna go a little deeper into why I liked this so much but don't got time...fam I really enjoyed this one though and I'm hype enough off it that I wanted to make sure I don't forget to mention it. It's no frills, nothing convoluted and just a good old fashioned horror movie. I'm a stan for horror movies where I can do deep dives into all of the allegory and underlying themes but this one gets by purely on the main foundations of a good horror. Good characters, good design, building tension and crafting great scares...sometimes simplicity pays off and these guys didn't have to reinvent the wheel to make what might be my favorite horror movie of 2019 (I gotta give it time to breath before I go that far though and I still have a movies to catch up on before I give the crown out).
This was actually pretty good.

Yeah fam, I was refreshed at how simple the premise was and how it let them just focus on tension and scares. And for some reason the haunted house felt authentic, I felt a sense of direction on that tip.

:mjlol: at the Spoiler too, I was the same way.
