Hi friends. This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi's of the 2010's decade. Really really unique and engrossing, I'm sure a good amount of you have seen it or heard about it, if you haven't you should definitely watch it! This guy can really make a movie, I'm seeing whatever he makes from here on out having seen (and attempted to understand) his previous movie Primer
Here's to hoping 2019 brings us more unique and brave horror/sci-fi than 2018

oh ok, thanks! will check it out over the weekend.You can switch the audio to English if subtitles are a problem for you. It’s pretty decent imo. I’d give it a 4/5. It’s beautifully shot, there’s action, and a bit of political drama. Some of the people do some stupid shyt that had methough. Like it was worst than the shyt white people do in horror movies. Outside of that it was enjoyable.
I rather watch without the English dub, it takes away from the authenticity. and the lack of sync with the actors and the english speakers, makes it worse. lol. I rather have it with the subtitles- I just have to not be in ADD mode and really pay attention, without distractions.
Yeah I know it’s probably shallow but when I’m watching a horror flick I want to be fully immersed. Having to read subs throws me off.

Good! I'm glad that she stood up for herself and received the support to push forward on the issue.
There's no way that they should have excluded her since 96!!?? 20+ yrs- there's no justification for that. She was entitled to be a part of the conventions and programs, she was just as much of a main character as the rest of the cast. I haven't had a chance to read through all the details from her story about this, yet, I want to know more about her experiences. I already know they try to spin this as if it was "her fault" or she was being "difficult". She deserves just as much recognition. Do you know if she is part of the black horror documentary coming out on Feb. 7th?
She is. In fact when this popped off, they tweeted out to make sure everyone knew she’s in the doc. Really can’t wait to see that shyt. I know shudder is adding some horror flicks featuring us next month
The mtv shyt still baffles me the most. I don’t like conventions fukking her over but the mtv shyt really infuriated me.

I hated hereditary. I liked Annihilation a lot, but had some qualms (that was my former favorite). Hated Suspiria. Very disappointed by Mandy. Cam was a huge letdown especially considering the hype. I like Gareth Evans so Apostle was a huge letdown as well. I was looking forward to Piercing with Chris Abbott, turned out to be a poor man’s Audition. For me, 2018 was full of disappointments in my favorite genre.
Climax had balls and was the first Noé movie that showed actual restraint in its vision.
IFC Midnight’s “The witch in the window” was a very good microbudget horror, and I’ve heard good things about “Possum”... to end this rant on a positive note
