Local theater is showing the sentinel, never seen it so I'm excited.
that's a good use of time homie. EnjoyOne of the better throwbacks I've seen in recent memory; a great blend of gallows humor (which the British do better than most), chutzpah, and horror.
I got no real idea what to expect, feeling like y'all might be setting me up here.
Some reviews revere it as an unsung classic, others seems to feel like it's unredeemingly sleazy and exploitative. I'm seasoned enough that nothing should shock me, but I'm excited nonetheless.
I know it’s not a horror movie but “Detroit” was the most horrific movie I’ve watched in a while.

Just got back, and I'm actually a lil disappointed brehs.
It wasn't as wild, gruesome or scary as I expected. Decently done, but overall it felt pretty standard. First impression is that this film influenced the beyond quite a bit, but Fulci made the better film, obviously.
I keep thinking about the film Alucarda. Personally, I can hardly sit through Alucarda, but certain scenes and scares in that film are basically etched into my head. On the other hand, while I enjoyed the sentinel in its entirety, it just sort of fell flat, which is crazy because the pacing of the film leaves little room to ever really get distracted or bored. I'm not sure if I rate the sentinel higher than I would Alucarda.
Anyways, some memorable scenes, but I just can't rate it too highly. I'll give it another shot down the line, and maybe I'll appreciate it more.
Also I think a remake for the sentinel would totally work today.

How many watchable movies are on there and how many get added? I had it thru Amazon a while ago but you couldn’t watch thru the app so I bushed it.It’s worth keeping after that homie. But that’s just my opinion
They add a lot every month throughout the month. And as far as watchable goes it’s really all about your taste man. There’s so much horror on it I haven’t even gone through everything.
If I were you I’d go to the site and look through the library. If any of it catches your attention then yeah you got something
