I thought ouija 2 was dope. Especially compared to the first one. Absentia and before I wake we’re both just ok. He’s on a pretty short list of people I’d trust to do a sequel to shining, imo.

part 3 is one of the greatest horror films all time.
Before I Wake was so terrible that I was ready to walk out of my own house while watching it.
Yeah, it's based on the Doctor Sleep book that follows an adult Danny Torrance.
They have cast Ewan McGregor as Danny and Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation) is the female lead.
I enjoyed the book and usually like Flanagan's stuff.
He did a pretty good job on Gerald's Game so maybe he has a special knack for King's works.
Every AHS season is uneven to differing degrees I find them all worth watching if for nothing else the heightened fukkery levels.
Of the seasons after Freak Show I rank them in this order:
1. Roanoke
2. Hotel
3. Cult
Geralds game is my favorite movie from him. I was shocked how good of an adaption it was.
I liked this last season, Roanoke,with the haunted house/possession documentary type theme, the first season and this last one are the best so far, imo. Coven - I would rate that last. I didn’t finish watching, Hotel- started off too weird for me, I didn’t have an interest in finishing that season.
do that faggidy themes continue past freakshow? My wife lookin at me funny in the light coming in the room seein this spoiled little shythead in the freakshow season laid out in his goddam underwear.
Also, i dont understand. If the tiny indian woman got put in a jar and drowned with chemicals, how did she then die again by the strong man smothering her?

.. lol..That dude, Dandy. Definitely don’t watch Hotel ! If your wife was looking sus at freakshow then she will be giving you the 
faces at Hotel. I didn’t finish watching Freakshow bc by the time I was halfway through, the Roanoke season started. (Been binging the series on Netflix) . Roanoke looked more interesting so my attn (my attention span is like a 2yr old lately) went to that. And I was right - just watch Roanoke straight up. Not to spoil it- there is one scene in Roanoke that’s not 
, but it kind of has that wtf factor - disturbing visually...
