interesting documentary on Hellraiser
its a little long, but keeps you pulled into it
my wife could not get past the British people's teeth though

I just found a bunch of the Hellraiser movies on HBO Max. I watch 1 and 2 so often, but it's been a long time since I've spiraled down the rest of the films. I might do a dive into those soon, while I wait for more horror to come out.

:snoop: i have seen them all

1& 2 are classics
3& 4 have their moments
anything after that is :to::stopitslime::unimpressed::mindblown:
( i give Hellworld a pass because Lance Henriksen is in it)

and the sequels without Doug Bradley:scust:

The sequels without Bradley are horrendous. I always think about the random dude typing up sins, pouring a salt shaker of tears on the paper, and then eating it...so ridiculous. I actually could get behind turning Hell into some kinda awful office space but not for a hellraiser movie and not like that one started!

I remember liking 3. But I barely recall everything after...Just minor bits like one of taking place in what's essentially the web. I'm definitely gonna dive into this batch. I did some rewatch and recaps on the Halloween and Friday the 13th franchises in the past...this could be another run for me. Though the quality drop off might make me stop early :mjlol:

It is wild how awful the Hellraiser franchise gets after 1 & 2.
Just no quality control at all.

New found footage movie coming in February: The Outwaters

The film plays out over three memory cards found in a sun-drenched section of the Mojave Desert. The footage within is that of a foursome, who set out to make a music video while camping, led by a charismatic LA filmmaker. Their trip starts out uneventful, though their peace is occasionally disrupted by unexplained sounds, vibrations, and unnatural animal behavior. Then one night everything changes, sending the foursome on a mind-bending trip through terror.

This movie has a lot of buzz around it so I cannot wait to check it out.

Yeah that's a promising teaser of a trailer. I like found footage, so hopefully this lives up to the hype.

I have never seen Hellbound but now I have to watch it.

The rest of the list was good except for the inclusion of that Netflix Texas Chainsaw Massacre...that was just some bullshyt with zero redeeming qualities.
I haven't seen a few of those. Drive-Thru and Uncle Sam both look like they'll be fun to check out in my spare time.

Uncle Sam is a hilarious mess of a movie.

Just started my watch of every movie in the Friday the 13th franchise...I completely forgot how the the first movie was presenting Camp Counselor Bill as a possible suspect for a lot of the movie.
ole snake killer yeah - its not obvious to until you re watch it

Gonna start my marathon Friday

I have the Japanese uncut version of the original
not really much difference -
some scenes extended by about 30 seconds and more blood in certain scenes ( like the Kevin Bacon death), but hey, why not.

on a side note

I will probably start my annual timeline of 2-4 argument with my cousin
he swears its only one week between the 3 flicks
I am like How is "oh my God... he's killing me" (part 4 Rob) been looking for his sister (Sandra, from part 2) in that amount of time

this scene cracks me up whenever it comes on

Help me out horror fam; Is Skinamarink streaming or only out in select theaters right now? I see conflicting reports. And how are people watching the outwaters already? Is that from festival plays, critic copies, or can I find that somewhere to streaming?
