we told you and I’m not one to talk about kids/teens in movies but the teens/ young adults in this are THE WORST of the worst. You’re right, The little 5 year old is the only one who is tolerable - he’s acting more helpful and composed than the older ones.

Boyd came on the scene and basically saved everyone because if he hadn't shown up everyone in that town was gonna eventually die. I do wonder what or was out in those woods with that dog tho. That's the only reason he got caught out there. Was something leading him to those talismans?

If Boyd hadn't done it somebody else was going to. She killed like 12 people. Son should have been way more understanding.

Boyd is the literal reason why anyone is alive in that town and everyone treats him like shyt it seems. Even his own son. Except for the priest. He literally risked his life like once or twice each episode. I was even angrier at that dumbass dyckhead son when I found out the reason why he wasn’t talking to him- I was waiting for the reveal for something detrimental - that wasn’t the case,how tf is he mad at his dad, after his mom went all mass shooter


Good question about the talisman - idk. I think there’s something supernatural trying to help them, like the ghost boy dressed in all white. Where evil exists, there’s also good; so we shall see.

I’m at the scene where one of the suspects is in The hospital talking about “help me” . The two cops in the hospital room start laughing saying “his balls are hammered, someone took a hammer to his balls ” and the lead detective walks over to the suspect and says “who broke your balls?!!!? “


I know this is a serious, very violent, darkly brutal non-comedic movie but that took me out lol. (And the way that they abruptly change to the next scene.) Especially with the English subtitles on. Whoever translated that ….

It's been a long time since I watched I Saw The Devil. Wasn't there a gory scene in a car garage?

There’s gory scenes in this are throughout the movie from what I’ve seen so far.

From The moment where he abducts the man’s wife as she’s sitting in her car. Takes her to whatever warehouse that is and gets to hacking her limbs.

The scene where the head falls out of the box in front of the reporters.

Im at the scene where he picks up the lady waiting at the bus stop. Bangs her over the head with the pipe.

Nothing but gore factor level 10 in this movie.

This was okay. The director put together some solid tense scenes early and Geno Walker killed it in his performance. It starts off with a vlogger catching some strangeness in the background of one of his youtube videos. He films as he investigates and starts messing with this potential haunting. A lot of the initial plot unfolds through his vlogs and zoom calls with others. He's a shut-in who had a nervous breakdown and moved away to reset...but by reset, he's basically just holed himself up with some taxidermy birds and his vlogs. So there is a lot of exposition and it leaps from zoom call to zoom call. But that keeps it moving before it can ever be called boring.

The haunts and scares start off pretty well. They're aggressive in a good way. But that means that when things turn up, it kinda jumps the shark. There's also this weird disconnect between the dialogue and the main character. The supporting actors are mostly hamming it up and having fun with their characters, but Geno Walker is over here acting his ass off. Walker sells this shyt and carries it through and through, along with some dope shots and moments from the director Jennifer Reeder.

But the shoddy dialogue really holds back some of the early tension and then it jumps the shark in the end. The whole setup is for this dude to conduct a Zoom exorcism with a stranger and some other youtube personalities. But the constant time jumps makes that part come abrupt as hell. Then it feels too over the top for any performer or director to salvage a serious tone out of. But I don't want to come across too harsh, because I was pretty thoroughly entertained. It's not long enough to get annoying and the hammy bits actually made me chuckle. It's not bad for a throw-on if you've got nothing to watch.
