My dad did the same thing except he actually took us there when we were kids. Like a fun family adventure type ish- with children.

This documentary reminds me of the time that my dad drove us for a drive by tour of the actual Amityville Horror house in Long Island. We lived in Queens, so it wasn't too far. I wanted to see it so he actually took us on a family road trip to see the Amityville house.
My dad is crazyI couldn't have been more than 7 at the time. Regular dads take their kids to the playground (which he did that too) but my dad leveled up and took his children to visit haunted houses.
My mom stayed home - she wasn't about that life. She wanted to keep me home but I wanted to go with the boys. I didn't sleep by myself for like a week after that but it was fun.

Nahhh Lords of Salem, house of 1000 corpses is mid. They’re alright. But you HAVE to watch Devil’s Rejects. I think that’s more your lane in terms of a RZ movie that you’ll like.
And there’s sooooo many notables and quotable in this movie- pure nonstop insanity

Alicia Silverstone peaked with her movies at Clueless. Been on a downward slump ever since. Really hit the skids when she had an interview about spitting food into her human infant’s mouth because she said that’s what baby birds do and proceeded to do just that. Nasty bytch.

Watched House of 1000 Corpses a long time ago and while the story didn’t wow me, the set designs stood out like crazy and I loved the unsettling, grindhouse nature of it all. The trailer for Ti West’s ‘X’ restored similar vibes. I’m just a sucker for those kinds of horror films.
