From what I read- Nic Cage has a bizarre occult obsession.

That would explain a lot about his career trajectory. Dude makes some of the worst movies with questionable acting, accepts any script for money, but somehow manages to stay on.
:francis:
Cage had a huge tax evasion bill that resulted in liens on all his properties about a decade ago and that's when he started taking every role that was offered to him regardless of its quality.
So he was spending like a drunken sailor and not paying his taxes at the same time.

I had to get up at the crack of dawn today for a phone call with some folks in Singapore so to while away the time I watched a couple movies.

Re-watched Victor Crowley and I so appreciate the insane fukkery levels that they put into the kills in that movie.
Exhibit A (where they did Felissa Rose's character real dirty):

Watched The Amusement Park. Romero was an absolute genius and this is one of the saddest weirdest movies I've ever watched. Romero wasn't subtle with what he was trying to accomplish but he really nailed the way we dismiss the elderly as being useless and not worthy of being treated like viable entities in this country.

Finished up with this horror movie called Blackstock Boneyard that was really dreadful in all ways from direction to acting to the fact that they used the real life story of Thomas and Meeks Griffin, two wealthy black landowners who were falsely accused o the murder of a white man and got electrocuted (there is a lot more to the story and it is all fukked up but worth reading up on), as the basis for this garbage.
And where Victor Crowley had fun inventive kills, this movie had some of the shyttiest kills put on film.
The Final Girl in this movie had 3 friends who all died in the most idiotic ways. This shyt was just laughable:

So I recommend The Amusement Park and Victor Crowley but warn you to stay as far away from Blackstock Boneyard as possible because it sucked ass.

The curse of the Madam LaLaurie house got to his ass. People have to learn the hard way about tapping into evil and summoning forces that they have no business disturbing. What you may see as coincidence .... is not always the case. The Warrens tried to warn you.

Does Mr.Zombie know ANY other female actors other than his wife??

That is going to be an absolute disaster.
That hate was strong in here

Rob Zombie Reportedly Directing New Munsters Movie, Sheri Moon Zombie To Star

Rob Zombie Reportedly Directing New Munsters Movie, Sheri Moon Zombie To Star

Yes, you read that headline right. According to new intel, cult favorite horror director Rob Zombie is helming a Munsters movie in which he’ll put his unique, R-rated spin on Herman, Lily and the rest of the supernatural brood. Originally created as CBS’ answer to ABC’s The Addams Family, 60s sitcom The Munsters hasn’t really enjoyed the same rich afterlife as the Addams, but maybe that’s about to change with this reboot.

Insider Charles Murphy of Murphy’s Multiverse shares that Zombie has been hired to write and direct a Munsters film for Universal. His wife and frequent collaborator, Sheri Moon Zombie, will play vampire housewife Lily, with another of Zombie’s regular actors, Jeff Daniel Phillips, set to portray her Frankenstein’s Monster-like husband Herman. Dan Roebuck, Jorge Garcia and Richard Broke have likewise been cast in major roles. And, last but not least, Cassandra Peterson AKA Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, will also be involved in a supporting part.

The Munsters originally ran for two seasons between 1964-1966, but there’ve been a couple of (failed) attempts to modernize the franchise over the past decade. Hannibal‘s Bryan Fuller produced comedy-drama Mockingbird Lane in 2012, but it never got past the pilot stage. Then, in 2017, it was announced that Seth Meyers was helming a reboot focusing on the family living in contemporary Brooklyn, though nothing ended up coming of that.

A Rob Zombie take on the clan is easily the wildest concept for a Munsters revival we can think of, though. That said, Zombie’s known to be a huge fan of the original series and has referenced the show a few times in his music career. During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the rock star/filmmaker claimed to have seen every episode “at least 17 times.” So, maybe he is the most qualified person to relaunch the inhabitants of 1313 Mockingbird Lane for the 2020s.
Bump
Don’t mind me- I’m just circling back past old comments for present intents and purposes

‘Inhuman Resources’ On Netflix Is A Gripping New Series Starring Eric Cantona
Living in a shabby apartment in Paris with his wife Nicole (Suzanne Clément), Alain has been struggling for the past six years ever since he was fired from his job as a director of HR because he was deemed too old. Unemployed, now 57, Alain can only find odd jobs that are not enough to repay his mortgage on their apartment, which is in serious need of repair.

Luck seems to be going his way when there is an opening for a job as an HR recruiter. After a test and an interview, however, Alain finds out that there is one further test he must go through to get the job. The candidates must role-play a simulated hostage situation, in order to evaluate a group of four executives, and interrogate each of them individually. The mysterious company behind this unusual recruitment is Exxya, an aerospace manufacturer, with Alexandre Dorffmann (Alex Lutz) as its CEO. Dorffmann wants to see which of his four executives would be the toughest to run one of Exxya’s factories, and fire more than a thousand employees there.

Alain prepares for this unusual recruiting method, trying to put all the best chances on his side. He asks the help of his unemployed friend, Charles (Gustave Kervern), who, luck would have it, is a computer specialist. He even hires the help of an ex-cop to teach him how to handle hostages. Alain desperately wants this job.

I think this is one of those series where the less you know going into it - the better.
