Wasn't Jaws just rated PG? PG-13 wasn't a classification till the 80s.
And I would add Tremors, Devil, Carriers, World War Z and Arachnophobia to the list.
I'm including PG flicks in it if we do it.

Minds Eye Entertainment, Bridgegate Pictures and VMI Worldwide have just announced the beginning of principal photography for The Recall, a new sci-fi/horror/action film shooting in British Columbia, Canada.
The great Wesley Snipes (Blade himself!) stars as “The Hunter” in this Mauro Borrelli (The Ghostmaker) directed film.
The Recall also stars RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad), Jedidiah Goodacre (Descendants), Niko Pepaj (Awkward), Laura Maria Bilgeri (Toby Goes to Camp) and Hannah Rose May (Ballers).
The movie tells the tale of five friends vacationing at a remote lake house, expecting nothing less than a good time. Unbeknownst to them, Earth is under an alien invasion and in the thralls of a mass-abduction.
Director Borelli is a former collaborator of director Tim Burton and the film illustrator for blockbuster films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Captain America.
The Recall will also be shot for the new Barco Escape three-screen, panoramic theatrical format, which fully surrounds audiences and offers the ultimate immersive cinema experience. Portions of the films will also be shot in Virtual Reality.
