Shudder leading the pak as usual. Netflix is on life support with their U.S. horror content as usual. Looking forward to Kong v Godzilla - other than that, HBO is looking weak. The most that I’ve been watching on Hbo is The Wayans Brothers and Boardwalk Empire. Hulu has a few sleepers/indies/ originals on there, I give them credit- 2nd after Shudder.

Don’t be like @Jello Biafra - ruined an entire season of Swamp Thing and 2 series on Netflix for me. On my Halloween movie night watch party, too. Legend has it that he feeds off souls of our own feelings as fans of movies that he hates. We refer to him as The Blair Biafra Outsider around these parts. pure evil.

Factssss!! Showtime has good content. Not widely known releases but what the movies that did watch on there were decent, going into it having no expectations. Showtime has horror movies for actual horror fans rather than what’s popular all the time.

I went down the "little known fukkery" horror rabbit hole years ago , regular horror is okay , but
if I get a whisper of a movie with tons of horror fukkery, that doesn't have all the promo and fanfare of a studio release, I am going to find it, watch it ...... and most likely enjoy it
( some are absolutely terrible, but that makes the good ones so much better)


And what is so odd ... I am actually a huge fan of intellectual Sci -fi ( like Interstellar or Aniara ) with little to no violence , just make you think movies... not the bad aliens and shoot em' ups
But those aren't getting produced like horror
