Are you talking about "family friendly" horror or horror movies where families are haunted?

Are you talking about "family friendly" horror or horror movies where families are haunted?

Definitely not family friendly horror movies. Just a horror film that involves a family, hopefully one that doesnt involve hauntings as i dont think people can relate enough to ghosts or demons to really be scared. I think the essence of a scary movie is to get people to question/be more cautious/weary with things in their normal lives based on the movie. Like some real unnerving shyt that people think could actually happen to them. I love horror films, but a new direction is order.

Check out The Witch if you can deal with a slow burn film breh. The family dynamic is central to the plot.

I watched that movie recently with my gf (who gets nightmares easily and doesn't like scary movies because of that). I couldn't be more disappointed in a movie with "great" reviews. A co-worker told me that a scary movie's rating is in-proportional to how good it actually is. And after watching the Regression film with Ethan Hawke, the cac from training day, my co-worker may be onto something. Regression got a 16% on Rotten Tomatoes, but that movie had me focused.
