Anybody fück with PCCs, or use one of those conversion kits to make your Glock into a short rifle?

I have a couple. They are cool to slip into a bookbag, but I have actual rifles that'll fit as well.
I've shot a couple of the conversion kits for the Glock but don't own any. While they are fun, I like to keep the Glock on me and when time comes I'm not putting the kit on it. Id have to buy another Glock and keep it in the kit all the time and the kits aren't that cool. At that point just buy a PCC.
This Glock and clone deal is getting out of hand. Here's what I don't get: why is a gen 3 g19 still ~$500? And why is an MOS Glock an extra damn near $200? What makes Glock think that optics cuts are worth 150 fukkin dollars from the factory? Should just be standard these days especially with all these other manufacturers putting them on the clones. Like damn nikka...compete.
And they're like apple atp. They keep dropping new generations that aren't really much of an improvement over the last 3 iterations of the same damn pistol. Their R&D team is sweating bullets tryna justify their existence. Bro just gon head and add serrations down the entire slide and be done with it.

You kinda answered your own question, lol. It's a brand name.
The Glock 17 & 19 are just licenses to print money, and even gun sellers are eating because they hold their value. Glocks are the Air Jordans of the gun world.
That's what bothers me lol I need them to be a dime a dozen like they should be. As many glocks and options as you have out there; a used G19 should be the price of a new G2C. I'm not a Glock guy so I wouldn't be the one buying them but it looks ridiculous.

Just get a Canik, they are cheaper than Glocks with nearly identical performance. Only advantage a Glock clearly has over a Canik is customization.

he ran the piece for a few thousand rounds too, the average service life for a subcompact is less than 50 rounds
low end manufacturers like psa/taurus know this and figure beta testing on their customers/handling warranty returns is cheaper than exercising quality control, sourcing prime materials, or paying their assemblers a living wage so they put some pride into their work instead of hating their jobs
you're looking at it from a tooling and materials standpoint when, like toyota/honda, the value prop comes from branding/support/reliability, even beyond that of gucci clones
btw an optics cut even from an inexpensive upstart like wager machine can run up to $170... mos is trash anyway, idk anyone who goes for that system unless it's a work gun which is forced upon them
it's cheaper cause it's made with inferior polymer and (more) mim/cast parts, using turkish labor instead of austrian/american, there's no r&d costs cause it's a copy of the walther p99, and century arms takes advantage of the lira perpetually circling the drain

Anyone have a Ruger Max 9? Ruger has never let me down and I'm thinking about grabbing one of these to carry, looked at them a while back and think I might get one this weekend.
Other Rugers I have are the American 9mm and PC Charger 9mm, we also have a LCR that shoots 38 and 357, so I'm all about the Rugers.

Sent it in for minor manufacturer repair for strange barrel scratches and they sent me a whole new one and I detached connection to it being my first gun and eventually sold it
All in all that thing is not an enjoyable one to have at the range for 357
