What's the point of a suppressor if it's still loud?

But overall they weren't really designed for civilians in mind, especially not some secret assassin type stuff like in the movies
generally their purpose tactically is just to be quiet enough for soldiers to still be able to communicate during a gun fight while wearing their headsets

silenced .22 lr is generally hearing safe and having to wear ear pro is no fun lol. like @Luke Cage said even if it's not hearing safe being able to speak is useful too. the second part you said is the common view in europe, silencers are mostly unregulated there and like car mufflers, it's considered rude for a civvy to not use one.What's the point of a suppressor if it's still loud?
i got one when they were being blown out for $600 and it's still not worth it unless you're into weird pistols/forgotten weapons. fk psd might fill your cyberpunk itch and it'll be less than whatever an h9 goes for now. oh, daniel defense is supposed to be bringing them back but i'll believe it's not vaporware (pic related) when i see it.
