Why would you get caught with one after they change the law?
lol
Do you though, I'll just remind you that in this instance, just like the Q Honey Badger situation, the ATF can arbitrarily make you a felon off the bat.
Sometimes being in the gray and just being quiet is better than trying to jump through their contradictory hurdles.
you can get caught with one because they don't magical cease to exist after a law has been changed.
youre sounding a bit like the political type gun owners, i understand how they feel. NRA, second amendment, an ar isn't an assault rifle its armalite rah rah,. but thats not really how i am. i don't hate the atf or any weapons bans. I don't feel a need to justify a right to have certain weapons i just have them cause i can. Cause i like them, and when i can't i'll just get rid of them.
that said. they don't just arbitrarily make you a felon and charge you retroactively with crimes committed before they were even crimes. Usually there is a cease and desist' type order and instructions on what to do in order to retain your legality. lest you be charged.

lol, what are you doing to get the ATF looking at your guns or if it isn't in your gun to search your property to find a binary trigger pack. lol

I don't really care how you are. I never said anything political to you. Stop projecting and take a deep breathe.
The ATF with their Honey Badger ruling, made every owner of a Honey Badger a felon by administrative decree. They were suddenly in possiion of a NFA short barrel rifle without a tax stamp, you are now a felon. What they claimed was that if you send in your gun, they won't charge you, they give you amnesty, but you are technically, in their eyes a felon at that point and time.

The ATF even claimed that if you shoulder a pistol brace, that makes you a felon, beause by shouldering a pistol you have converted the brace into a unregistered NFA short barreled rifle.

So I would suggest you educate yourself on the ATF, especially their letter rulings, such as owning a shoe string making one a the potential possesor of a unregistered machine gun, before you jump off the cliff trying to defend them.

That said, so what you want and by all means enjoy your gun ownership and modifying your firearm.

You can't declare someone a felon. You have to charge and convict them of a felony to make them one. You just explain what i was pointing out, that they will simply make a decrees and give you instructions on what to do lest they do take steps toward making you a felon. Every owner of the honey badger didn't magical become felons overnight. No felonies hit their criminal records at the strike of midnight that they had to later get expunged. Thats pollical anti atf rambling that i see on youtube. and like i said, i get it. i don't agree with their rulings anymore than you do, but i don't treat them like boogeymen either. I'm comfortable just following the letter of the law.
also i'm still not understanding the lol's regarding having illegal property without paperwork not being risky.

More power to you, but the ATF's history is long and documented with fukkery.
I wouldn't put my faith in them employing honesty and integrity.
Again have fun, enjoy your gun ownership and power power to you.

They are coming after Rare Breed with their FRT, I would be careful on any of them.
Glad i didn't buy that picture hanger ar15 wall hanger or autokeycard.
This is bolded different because it's converting to full auto, this just makes semi auto function much faster. Although the same can be said about the FRT Ghost trigger. like you said earlier i'm curious to see if is upheld after a legal battle. Thats probably why they haven't gone after binary triggers yet. They want to see how this plays out first before they start another legal battle. because if you read their definition for why they banned it. it doesn't actually violate the stated legal definition.

That sounds crazy to me, I would never make or dream of making or owning such things.

You're not doing anything wrong or illegal. What you're actually doing is advancing gun making/gunsmithing.

That's why you have different triggers, different barrels, different handguards and frames and designs to accommodate different gun owners needs and wants.

Whether you do it for yourself or want to launch your own business like David_TheMan customs, or David_TheMan industries....this is America you can do that from your home.

I was being facetious.
Im with you i nope to see more and more people enter and really push the industry.

I was reading and it seems like it illuminators will be flooding the market from the mil side, since the military is looking to phase them out with the next gen nv coming and the new demand for all nv devices to be passive.
