JSU gonna be beating the shyt out of other HBCU's and losing by a touchdown less to major programs. Not sure how good of a thing this is.

If JSU doesn’t fix their trenches, they’ll have trouble against MEAC teams, and eventually FAMU will get them.

This should help JSU’s basketball team too. Everyone in the state knows the Jackson Metro is where the talent is. Most of the well known stars in the league from the Sip came from the Jackson area. Prime can and is doing so much for that area. Jackson has been a dump for awhile, and crime has been outta control. Prime can help get more money into the city, because like you said, in Mississippi, it’s Jackson and the Coast. When you speak of the Sipp now, it’s mainly those areas that are the focus

All true!

I've heard him mentioned as well as a couple other Polynesian cats but I haven't seen anything about them actually committing.

Rumor is Coach Prime is lowkey trying to establish a Poly pipeline

It would be smart to do that. Poly folks really like black culture and because of their phenotype they can blend in with black folks at times. I don't think it would be as much of a culture shock to them going to the SWAC and Jackson/Mississippi. Actually culturally and how they are raised is very much like black folks who grow up and live in Mississippi. From rural life to being very religious.

If JSU doesn’t fix their trenches, they’ll have trouble against MEAC teams, and eventually FAMU will get them.

They got some maulers from Juco and ULM who they just got during the offseason. The issue last year is a lot of those OL last year were left over from the previous regime. Like #51 Cedric Dunbar who is horrible. Dude was the starting center for most the season and kept getting false starts, stepping on shedure's foot and doing horrible snaps fumbling the ball or missing blocks. They shuffled the line before the SWAC championship game and moved Cedric to Right Tackle. At Right Tackle he missed countless blocks when passing or run blocking. As you saw in the Celebration bowl he got absolutely abused and was the reason for 1 or two of sheduer interceptions.

Henry Evans from ULM will solidify one side of the OL and with Simi Maola (if they are actually get him) will give them one of the best OLs on one side (most likely the right side) in the entire SWAC.

Remember Deion only been at the school as a head coach for like 1 calendar year. So it will take about 3 offseasons to flush all the players out from the previous regime. Deion won the SWAC, played in the Celebration bowl and got a piece of the HBCU National Championship (it was a 3 way split between FAMU, SCST and Jackson state) with the worse OL in the SWAC, worse RBs in the SWAC, a true freshman QB, only one recruiting class under his belt and only being a head coach for a year.
