Of course the ATL
Nah he's going to stay at CU for a minute. They'll throw him an even bigger bag shortly. They already have great facilities and will improve even more so with this windfall of cash coming in. The stadium will be expanded and renovated in a year or so. Also Boulder is a suburb of Denver. They're in a major metro area. CU is letting him be him. Does he really want to cut all that off too early to deal with an entirely new AD, alumni, booster group, student body, etc. in a bigger program but still yet extremely southern mentally who won't really like a black man as head coach and who will want him to keep his mouth shut and become docile?

All the mid tier SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC schools had plenty of time to hire him but didn't mainly because of their old school philosophies.

Y’all gotta remember that Colorado is a temporary situation. He’s not going to be coaching at Colorado for the rest of his coaching career. He’s got 2 of his sons playing at the school, I think once Shedeur goes pro he’ll look to leave. This part of the story is about showing y’all how Deion can turn around a program, make money and be competitive. He’s gonna master that at Colorado. Next step will be to win a championship. Can he do that at Colorado? History says no but I think he’ll be competitive within the Pac-12/Big 12

If Deion wants to make a CFP he’s gonna have to leave and take a bigger job at a school with more resources dedicated to win in football than Colorado, that’s just what it is :yeshrug:

I don’t see prime moving for a while. He is a builder and values legacy. He ain’t leaving until he build a winning culture there. He had to leave JSU because it wouldn’t have been right to stay for his son or Travis (no matter how people feel) and the other talented athletes. They had to play at P5, period. There’s no way around it. But, here he can build what he needs and stay for a minute.

There’s money in Colorado but I don’t think they believe a winning program happening . He’s getting them bought in. If he ends with a winning season and a top recruiting class I bet you start to really
see that money coming in.

No he's not going to be at CU permanently for the rest of his career but CU it's now dedicated to football and will up the budget accordingly. He can't leave this situation he's in now too early. He's gotta roll with this fully for at least five years or more. Truthfully alot of these SEC and Big 12 school aren't that rich. They spend big dough in their football programs but their school's endowment is miniscule.

Alabama & Clemson's endowment is $1 billion. Georgia's is $1.2 billion. Oklahoma is at $1.6 billion. Colorado is already at $2.1 billion. And just for context... Michigan's is $17 billion, Stanford is at $36 billion. Yale University $41 billion, Harvard is at $50 billion, etc. Colorado can easily jump to $4 billion or more in the next couple of years, especially being part of the Denver metro area. In a few years CU will be two to three times richer than most of these big time programs y'all propping up that he should leave for. He's gotta see this through

If he gets a top 10 recruiting class I think he stays a little longer. Going to be a relatively clear route to the playoffs with Texas and OU out of the Big 12.

This.

And people are a fool if they don't think Deion knows this.

Shadeur probably gone after this season...unless he wants to run it back in the Big 12 with no OU/Texas. Travis is 100% gone after next season.

Shadeur gone if he a first round pick.

I had a weird prediction recently (I just keep seeing this). If Texas QB continue to do well, Arch hitting the portal to fill Shadeur spot. (disregard this crazy take).

Colorado hasn’t traditionally been a football power or consistently dedicated resources to being a football power. They’ve been content to be a team that maybe makes a bowl every couple of years. Deion winning and turning things around doesn’t automatically change that if the President/Board of Trustees/AD/Coach aren’t all aligned on winning at a CFP level, right now we’re just talking about being a competitive program. Playing with and competing with the annual spend of programs like UGA, Ohio State, Bama, ND is a different animal altogether.

If Deion wants to win at that level (I think a school like Auburn would be perfect in a few years) he’s gonna have to go to a school that’s a perennial top 25 type of program

Why wouldn’t the Texas QB just go pro and open the door for Arch
