The rich get richer (in recruiting). No chance we have him doing much in regards to calling plays, but Alabama has arguably the most talented (and actually good while being talented) secondary in the L this year, and he landed Arnold + Caleb Downs. The latter will prob be a first rounder...

Dancy? some even suggest Mike Zimmer....

I see the article from 2 days ago that Zmer was interested in getting back in to coaching. We shall see

Looks like they have huge surprise at DC in place.

I don't even think it matters who they hire, unless they're prepared to really give them autonomy, and to just cook. That Sean Lewis shyt was managed as bad as a coach could handle it. I didn't recall any interference of that magnitude with the defense, so hopefully that continues.

No hating shyt, I hope breh figures it out (even though I think he'll dip as soon as he does). The game was more fun when them dudes mattered.

what would your response be to those who would suggest that the change wasnt so much a performance issue but that Lewis was already in talks with other teams?
Then his reaction to the situation was unreal and relatively unprofessional. You don't hire a young upstart coach expecting that he's trying to be a lifer there. He, like Deion, didn't come to Colorado to be a Colorado lifer.

If anyone should understand what he was trying to do, it would be Deion. Come in, show he's good at what he does, go up. He clearly showed that he was able to do his job at a high level while searching around.

Btw, coaches do this EVERYWHERE. especially in the middle class of football. Kirby Smart was looking at other jobs while Alabama was about to go to a national championship. Auburn literally interviewed the guy in 2012. Deion isn't going to get anyone except older cats with no tread left (like Pat Shumur), if he's just going to go for dudes ready to settle.
