He got a few players to flip, so all he was really left with is the kids recruited by the previous administration.

And even with the transfer portal, he still had to put a team in place.

It's amazing how so many people never played organized football in their life. You don't overhaul a team a little over 6 months and think they are supposed to win 10 games the first year. You got so many coaches first year with better rosters and didn't do great. It's not expected. You have to introduce your culture and players have to get chemistry playing together. That doesn't happen over night. Which why if you know football, nobody goes off on coaches their first year unless they are of course black.

You act like all the kids from the portal automatically workout. There are a reason why some of these kids are in the portal. The stars of the portal were pretty much taken by the time Deion got ahold of the team.

So he replaced the 1-11 roster with a better roster, but the O and D line ain't it. But still did what he was supposed to do and win more games. Now he has all the recruiting and portal options from the beginning now. So there will be much improved next season.

If Deion was white you'd be praising him. I don't get it. First year and idiots think he should be in the playoffs.
