The whole idea that CNN is this liberal news channel is a sorry right wing Donald Trump talking by point, because these cowards always need a pervasive enemy to look like a victim. And then when Trump and Fox News sicked the entire conservative community to attack CNN as a "fake news" Democrat-serving news outlet, CNN anchors and producers pushed back with fact checking and shyt. But Trump was such an objectively awful President it was impossible to cover him in good conscious without being critical.

And lest we forget the only reason Trump had this particular hatred for CNN was because when he first launched his campaign Fox couldn't stop sucking his dikk and you had the MSNBC Morning Joe team sipping Starbucks latte in pajamas while talking to this racist like a lovable guy every morning, just laughing it up about Hillary and his "tell it like it is" white supremacist talking points on immigration and Muslims. CNN had the nerve to give his every ridicuous words, rallies, and tweets airtime and validity without sufficiently tickling his ego like the other networks were so eager to do. The American corporate media is not and has never been at all "liberal."

I grew up on CNN back when 24 hour cable news television was still a luxury. At no point in time do I remember CNN ever being hostile to conservatives or Republicans, including on their own payroll. I don't ever remember the channel being big on "equality" and "inclusion" and all that until it became corporate friendly to do so.

CNN is a purely ad driven business that has always made pivots to their editorial decisions depending on perceived audience gains. The network has always hired Republican Party or Conservative group alumnis as both on-air talent and as executives. They were never a "liberal" news source to begin with. That was always just a whiny GOP talking point.

"Stop talking about Trump/Republicans" is a common talking point among these right-wing adjacent fake militant gawkers. You see it in TLR every day.

Wanna talk American politics but always acting like Republicans are above criticism, and in fact the more trustworthy party because "we know they're racist. They're not the ones promising us something". Then they push all the "Democrats not giving us tangible paychecks in exchange for our votes" nonsensical narratives. Then of course comes the vague strategies about "holding Democrats accountable" to shyt they would never expect from the Republican Party by passively supporting the Republican candidates, "consider what they have to offer" as if Republicans havent spoken from the rooftops all that they want to do to our laws--especially in regards to addressing racism, black people, and equality--and other hypocritical, double standard having, bootlicking c00n shyt for this white supremacist party.

Just swiftly go from uncompromising militants purely focused on reparations and "tangibles. when it comes to voting Democrat to little puppy dog suck ups for entirely "anti-woke" Republicans without a shred of self awareness for their obvious partisan hackery and hypocrisy.

Ima say it over and over to these nikkas from now on: being critical of your party of choice and wanting that party to fukking lose are two COMPLETELY different things and I'm tired of playing games with these militants.

You don't fight for so-called "woke" liberal legislative agendas from Democrats like reparations and then root for the white nationalist Republican Party at the same time. I don't care how dumb enough you are to believe that losing elections will prompt a party to go even MORE extreme with their views. They are not genuine. They dont respect their own audience, they are emotionally manipulative partisan hacks, and they are only using this call for "demands on the Democrat Party" to push their own political agendas

This guy, Tariq, and the whole bandwagon of obvious Republicans on TLR. Expect a ton of this shyt more and more until the end of 2024. Even as Ron DeSantis is out there throwing Klan rallies you'll still see these "pro-black" stooges telling black folks Biden is racist, Trump/DeSantis policies are good for "black Americans" while Democrats are good for "black immigrants, to not vote, and just let white folks decide our fate. This generation is damn pathetic.

Chris Licht, the former television producer who oversaw a brief and chaotic tenure as the chairman of CNN, is out at the network, according to a person briefed on the decision.

Mr. Licht’s 13-month run at CNN was marked by one controversy after another, culminating in his exit earlier this week. He got off to a bumpy start even before he had officially started when he oversaw the shuttering of the pricey CNN+ streaming service at the request of its network’s new owners, who were skeptical about a stand-alone digital product. The cuts resulted in scores of layoffs.


Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company, did not respond to a request for comment.

Mr. Licht’s departure represents a dramatic fall not long after he departed as an executive producer of Stephen Colbert’s top-rated late night show and vowed to bring a middle-of-the-road balance to CNN’s journalism. When Mr. Licht took the job, he told friends it was a “calling.”

Puck earlier reported that Mr. Licht was leaving CNN.
