when the cta conductor still took fares On the train face to face.
If someone did Not have a fare.
Out of courtesy you let them ride.

I’ll never forget i was ridging, on my way to Chatham to an clinic i was working at, and a car lost its wheel and i remember it was bouncing and it passed me (thankfully) then as a car was heading towards it, in my mind i thought it might bump it, but i forgot buddy was going fast, well that chick car hit that tire, and raised up like toretto shyt on fast and furious off the line, I’m sure shorty day was all the way fukked but I’ll forever remember that shyt
