Might be moving to Evanston
Jealous. Congrats.
In my younger years I messed with this northwestern grad student. EthiopianMe and my girl finna get married and have been looking at starter homes in Evanston and Wilmette. We're keeping our condo in the city though.
You trying to be closer to downtown or basically West of ridge? Ive toyed with the idea of looking for a bargain west of Evanston Township High but realistically im trying to be near Forest Ave close to the lake in a few years. There are also some bomb ass condos on Church street, and nice start-home looking areas on Asbury between Main and Howard street. In my younger years I messed with this northwestern grad student. Many cold nights spent on the red & purple line with my 38 snub concealed carry under the northface
That's where I grew up, miss it dearlyMight be moving to Evanston
be careful in southwest Evanston in terms of the houses; many of them are landmarks (like, some you wouldn't think), and HVAC retrofits are nigh impossible for less than a grip. A lot of my homies that live in the area opted to move further N/NW for the flexibilityYou trying to be closer to downtown or basically West of ridge? he's done a good job of showing the city
he probably has a number of Chicago videos coming

Aww ok I feel that. Condos are not necessarily in short supply in Evanston, but its hella Co-Ops (bad deals) and older condos with shared laundry. There are actually very good options that pop up for less than 300k from time to time but you basically have to be ready to pull the trigger, off a big ass earnest right up front, and eat the property tax + condo fees. All that said, im gonna do it when I get the chanceHope you enjoy it, fam, as I love that lil ass city as much as I love Chicago. We’ll be in an apartment for now. We ain’t ballin like that to buy no property or condo in Evanston
I prefer oak park tbh. More centrally located, my girl stays in oak park now and she loves it. Takes the green line into downtown dailyAww ok I feel that. Shiiiit fam, you say it like the lake isn't a huge draw. I can't ever see myself moving from the eastern most parts of Chicago because without the lake I don't exist. That shyt is powerful, for real.I prefer oak park tbh. More centrally located, my girl stays in oak park now and she loves it. Takes the green line into downtown daily
Evanston just gets the leg up cuz of the lake
I use to do open water swimming in the lake breh, I love it. The city has done a great job of keeping it relatively clean and pollution freeShiiiit fam, you say it like the lake isn't a huge draw.
