Dog if you’re staying in Northbrook, you’ll need car. Hit up the botanical gardens if you’re up north. You can park your rental in a garage downtown Evanston and take the purple line in. Express will actually take you into the North Side proper. Off peak you’ll have to transfer to the Red Line at Howard. Jazz at the Green Mill is a must if you have time. My homie Makaya McCraven might be playing in town; check for him.So i booked my hotel. I will be staying in northbrook. Im renting a car. I heard its not wise to get a car to get into the city. But i aint trynna hop on different trains and buses to get to where i wanna be. How would i navigate parking downtown?

It is what it is. Guess I gotta get the ventra app. My itinerary is stacked, but i appreciate the suggestion.
I would park at Soldier Field. Puts you right in front of Field Museum, Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium. You can walk 10 minutes to the Art Museum. Grant Park. Can catch a train or Uber in any direction. You can take a boat taxi from Museum Campus to Navy Pier. Uber can get you to Magnificent Mile in 10 minutes from there.
I already mentioned this place on 83rd in the other thread. It's in walking distance of my crib. They are pretty generous with the portions when I wentComing in 2 weeks for 6 days. Never been. Put a samoan fellow on game. Whats some good food spots, and stuff to do in the south side?
