Englewood Chicago to Southwest Atlanta
I always tell my young black folks apply for the post office asap or apply for city government jobs or go to trade school to become a welder plumber electrician these jobs going in after 3yrs you will be making over 50k yr without a degree or if you're entrepreneur link up with like minded ppl with sum connections that will help fund make your visions into a reality. Your calling might be in another city to that's why I try to tell ppl just because you was born n raised somewhere doesn't mean you have live n die there. I've been living in Chicago for 20+ yrs I've done everything I was put here to do it's time to move on to another environment that's why when ppl move to different cities they get put on instantly you can still have love for your city n hood re til death but you ain't gotta struggle n die there to prove how real u are real recognize real no matter where u at

I forgot what part of Atlanta u thinking about moving too? And with the post office jobs u talking about driving and delivering mail? I can’t do that cuz my driving record.

how old u is? I just turned 25 I’m feelin old

Probably Buckhead or downtown I gotta checkout a few spots next month. Try to apply to work inside the hubs you will get hired faster that way and get turned over as a career employee within 3-4 yrs instead of a mail carrier but if u have cdl you will make more driving the trucks 53 footers. Try to apply for a pse clerk position as your first option 2nd option mail handler assistant those two positions you are guaranteed to get hired depending on high your score is when u take the test before you get interviewed

Heading out there next month, what are some spots to hit up for eats. I took @FocusedDaily @Ask a Serious Question list for bars.

Also what neighborhoods should I try to stay in. Probably won't be driving, so something easy to transportation to get around or cheap to Uber around.

Stay in River North or South Loop.

How much are you looking spend on food?

Streeterville / North MIchigan Ave if you're looking for stuff to do in walking distance and not driving a car. Staying in the neighborhoods like Lakeview, or Lincoln park is dope if you have a reason to be a little further north, plenty of stuff to do, but less tourists.

But overall if this is your first time just stick to streeterville / river north / North Michigan ave, and you'll be within a mile of anything you could want to possibly want to eat drink or do, and have bus and train access to the entire rest of the city.

No limit on food, I know Chicago is known for deep dish pizza, so that's one thing I definitely have to experience while out there.

Lou Manatti's for pizza.
Chicago Cut if you like steak. You will spend over $300 here.
The Dawson for contemporary American.
Ja Grill if you want Caribbean.
Never been yet, but Portillo's for Italian beef or hot dogs...that's big here.
Cafe Ba Ba Reeba for Spanish Tapas.
Carnivale for latin/Spanish food.
Haven't found a soul food spot yet.

My recommendation is Cafe Ba Ba Reeba. You'll spend around $100 including drinks for 2 people...really good food with no real distinction. Its Tapas so the plates are small, but you'll get to try a lot of shyt. Get that and a pitcher of Sangria and you good. You need to make a reservation by Monday or Tuesday for the weekend or you won't get a seat.
