Small world I use to stay on cambellton Rd for a good 5 months til me n my ex found a townhouse on Buford hwy. I done stayed all over the A from 10-13 but my fam been down there since 91 after my granddad died my grandma big sis and auntie moved down there right after the funeral my mom& I then my lil sis who was born later on that yr stayed in the hood we went from living in bougie ass Beverly hills to 91st and laflin to the westside. So I was basically born on the bougie part of the Southside then at age of 3 moved n raised on the westside the heart of the westside this is when the Henry hornets, Rockwell gardens old Chicago stadium was still up I didn't realize I was living in a warzone til like around 94 that's when I went down to Atlanta to visit my fam I was down there every summer. I was in Lithonia, Decatur & westside of ATL is Oakland city consider west or south side? But atl was a culture shock that was my first time ever being in the country mind you this 94-97 n I kind of stopped goin down there I started getting heavy in to sports like baseball n basketball. I didn't start back goin to ATL til around 04 that's when I ran into alot of upcoming athletes and rappers mind you were in hs around this time I use to workout with Billy humprehies he use to play on same AAU team as Lou Williams n Mike Mercer n Billy humprehies lil cousin is from Chicago he was getting trained by my godfather sonny Parker another coincidence. This nikka bow wow use to always be with Lou Williams n a yr later this chick I was missing with at my hs her cousin so happen to play on same hs team with Lou Williams n Mike Mercer at south Gwinnett. That's why I'm so connected to both cities it be a big city small world out here. My big sis went to school with Ludacris n luda is really from oak Park he use to stay on same block as my uncle before luda moved to college Park ATL. That's why alot of ppl in ATL have alot of ties to ppl in Chicago

Nah, Chicago people don't know that dispensary life yet. Only one item on that receipt is actual flower, the rest is Resin, a vape cart, and an edible. The price on the edible is the only thing truly unreasonable, the taxes are the dealbreaker. The taxes on concentrates are double the tax on flower. Illinois is the only state that is making a difference between concentrate and flower on both taxes and amount you can buy.

Purchases of cannabis flower or products with less than 35% THC are slapped with a 10% sales tax. Cannabis-infused products such as edibles come with a 20% tax. Products with a THC concentration higher than 35% come with a 25% tax. Illinois municipalities and counties are able to levy additional local sales taxes.

Like I'd happily $60 for a 1 gram Cart legally so I know it was safe, but concentrates are taxed at 25%, plus excise tax, then regular sales tax.
(For example that 33.50 tax listed is 25% of the two $67 concentrate items 67+67=134 134*25%= $33.50)

In denver and vegas Carts and resin are counted as their weight regardless of the concentration which is why you can buy a GANG of carts even if you're an out of state purchaser. And they don't jack up the tax cause it's concentrated.

that 7 pack for .5g pre rolls (1/8th total) for $40 is a pretty ok deal depending what the tax comes out too.
I can get a 14 pack of .5g pre rolls (1/4 oz total) for the same $40 in Cali, but that's because having so much competition has driven prices down. Illinois will get there eventually once the new licenses get issued and there are more that 6 storefronts in the city.

U been all over Atlanta where u stay at now? I love Chicago but I’m thinking bout moving back to Atlanta. I just miss it and I know my side of the family more from Atlanta. Only knew a few of my Chicago family and I ain’t got my car in Chicago so it’s hard to connect with them.

Im still in the city for now planning on move back down to ATL probably in September. But yea everybody moving down to the A it's crazy how everybody moving down there when I told ppl in the city how more affordable it is down there if you got something goin on u can't be no broke mf with no hustle down there. But yea ain't shyt in Chicago no more right after asw is gonna be clear as day.

You’re still in trouble if you get caught with it in the car regardless. Only your home and smoke spots are the legal accepted locations although a bunch of people will be in a street prolly smoking too.
