Too bad we won’t see the extension to 130th in our lifetime :russ:

OG said they been talking bout expanding that mf since the 70s.

I wanna see it get expanded, but that's why I don't live further south than the train goes. I like being in walking distance of the red line for whenever I need it.

they will continue to have nothing even if they get the casino.

Yeah sure it’ll create hundreds of jobs, construction jobs etc but long term area revitalization? Nah

Casinos aren’t economic engines for communities. They are tax revenue engines for municipalities.

By this logic Gary, Hammond, Whiting shouldn’t be industrial wastelands because of all the casino activity. People go there to gamble and eat then head home they ain’t spending time in the neighborhoods over there

whiting is actually :eat: from the oil refineries.

I been looking at apartments in Little Village,Bridgeport, Cicero, Pilsen. Figured I could hop on the orange or pink line to get to work

See a trend :mjpls:

Only affordable part of the city is the Hispanic hoods :snoop:

Bronzeville is affordable and isnt as hood as it used to be. It's better than little village and Pilsen. Less cacs and esse gang bangers.
