Worse, Humboldt Park in the process of gentrification. Don’t get me wrong it’s still hot over there but a lot of people who been there for years getting pushed out.
Lot of yuppies moving in, pushing rents up. Only upside to it is theres a lot more police presence
Most stable Hispanic hood would probably be Marquette park/Chicago Lawn or Pilsen little village
East side of the park is fine. West is still shytty(was over a chick house last summer and then nikkas was bussin outside in broad daylight)
Back of the yards is a fukking dump. Dirty ass Mexicans past Halsted and that whole area smells due to the meat factory. And Mexicans are ten times more racist here then PRs

I've thought about moving that way a few times, and being out south in roseland that ain't nothing but a 10-15 min trip from where I am now. Definitely cheaper if you cross that line and get that indiana registration.
Bascially if you fukk with the south side often its not a bad move at all since you barely a 20 min drive a way from being right back on the side south. And thats assuming Bishop Ford is shyt and you can take Torrence and bypass all that shyt. North Siders though its much more of a hassle, especially if you trying to commute home during rush hour.
I go between my folks crib in CC Hills and my cousin place in the 100s
Not too familiar with over east, I get lost every time I go over there

If i and a job in Indiana I’d definitely buy there. The amount you’ll save in mortgage and taxes would be like an additional 10K in annual income.
