Harvey is poor and corrupt as hell. Every branch of government is involved in some shyt. Cops not solving crimes. Setting up fake raids and stealing drugs/money. Letting rape kits sit around instead of sending them to labs. Mayor buying cars with state grant money. They were charging residents for water and not paying Chicago. All them strip clubs that blatantly sell p*ssy.

And watch out they are trying to do matteson, Richmond Park, Homewood the same way they’ve done Harvey, Chicago heights, etc. Go through Matteson and it’s damn near a ghost town. Lincoln mall is shuttered. Nothing left but JC penny and red lobster. All the cacs taking their business to Orland and Tinley. So matteson gotta tax the fukk out their resident to make up for that income loss. Cacs been running this game for 60 years now

At this point matteson just a part of my past that's gonna be forgotten.
When my Aunt passed in 2015, my unc and cousin sold their house on Kentucky ave and just moved to Arizona last year. So just like that I have no reason to go out there anymore, but last I was there all that damn construction on lincoln highway was a nightmare.
the south burbs been in a process of being ghettoized since the 90s. Now nikkaa getting murked on the regular in the burbs that used to be nice like university park, matteson, etc.

They originally made that area shytty by placing restrictive covenants/urban renewal programs to keep poor folks out during the 50s/60s when the city tore down the slums and put nikkas in projects. Now UC basically expanding past 59 to 63. And another ten years from 63 to 69. And they smart about it because they can say it’s multiracial(and it’s true this down along class lines instead of racial) They basically operate like a private corporation. They rent buildings out. Got a large ass police force that had the same power as city cops. The influence as crazy. UIC has done the same thing out west there. Basically expanded form Roosevelt all the way south to 26th street
