Chicago does have transit police. They are also CPD, but their car is different.It’s ridiculous the city has never created a separate transit police force.
You go to NYC,Philly, SF etc they all have a dedicated department strictly for transit. CPD does have a transit division but you don’t even see they ass at the stations like that unless it’s during the warm months
It’s getting to the point I don’t even like going downtown after a certain time at night
Whenever I take the red line at night, I am ALWAYS strapped tho. and if it's too late I'm on Uber. But I only live two blocks off the 87th stop.

I work right by oak Brook Mall. I have no reason to hit up those other ones.I was at both these spots within the past week.

My daughter was working at water tower place for a couple summers and it's started getting stupid with the mobs of kids. It's a weird line, because I know full well that once there are enough teenagers in a group folks start thinking if we all wild out they can't arrest all of us.
I remember back in the late 90's they used to use "mob action" as an excuse to break up crowds all the time.

They usually try to charge you more than they should like some sucker, but you can always talk them down. They ain't turning down no money....especially the older cats
That oil change place that used to be where Starbucks is on 87 used to be my go to. My HS counselor owned it back in the day Used to give kids jobs. I wondered what happened.
The Chicago Athletic Hotel is a a couple of blocks away. Right across from Millenium Park and has a good rooftop bar for drinks.

I been saying this for a minute, they just need to make the Metra Electric some type of rapid transit instead of suburb to city commuter rail. Why build new infrastructure when you have existing ones already ?

It’s nikkas in Roseland that don’t even know Metra run through there cuz they all flagstops from 103rd down to 115th/Kensington
It is inside the Chicago Board of Trade building. Unless you are an alcoholic, always get a mixed drink with a soda and ask for the entire can of soda as well.
I was there yesterday. It is usually the only ticket in town until like 8:30pm when spots like Persona/Reverie/Drinkhaus start to fill up. Because of the heavy pours, it is great for jump starting your night if you plan on staying out after work.
