It's just a scarce industry, mainly because of the rib shacks shutting down due to the owners dying or retiring and had children who weren't responsible enough to take over the business. So mom and pop closed them up.
There was a time when there was a good rib shack on every major street. Those days are gone.
I-57 on 115th is decent. Avoid the weekends....hella wait times.

Only ones I know of are on 103rd and western and 63rd southwest over by midway. But you know them dusty dotheads not putting anything in our neighborhoods if they can’t enclosed themselves in bulletproof glass. Is going to a White Sox game worth it? Don't know if the area is too sketchy but I don't think it's too deep in the south side and I don't know if they suck or not anyways. I'd rather go see Wrigley since that has more baseball history but can't attend a game there. Just trying to figure out if going to whatever they call the stadium now is worth it.
White Sox play in Bridgeport which is safe but
Bronzeville is on the other side of the Red Line which is cool.
