Now the entire dan Ryan is closed on a Saturday. This is horrible cuz all the other streets are now full of cars

They would be better off protesting in Englwood streets or the Westside streets, where people are actually getting shot & not on the E way..

1/2 the force of the ISP and the CPD were all on the south side it seemed on the damn dan ryan.

Kids in general are not well behaved.
That's why I live around older people.
My wife and I put our condo up for sale last month and got so many offers from couples older than us.
But older people usually have the money to buy for what we're asking. Most young people can't afford a $350k+ commitment, nor do they want one.
my block has mostly old people. no teens or kids on the block at all.

The only downside is if you have young children who like to go outside and play. Older people with no children can get cranky or not like the mischief young kids can bring if they're in the neighborhood.
My wife and I just sold our condo in Hyde Park and bought a 2'bedroom unit in the Loop. I was against living downtown for a long time, because it just didn't seem worth it and I just never wanted to deal with it. I lived in Lincoln Park when I was younger but I was single and mingling, etc. But now I guess it's not bad. We can both now walk to work, the grocery store, to the movies. I will probably like it.
We were supposed to move some things today but the protest put a stop to that. We have been sitting in a half furnished condo all day watching Netflix, couldn't be happier.

there's kids on the next block over east of us. my daughter can go ride/walk over there if she wants to play with those kids.
