Brehs, can we have a serious talk about the large groups of black kids that seem to have discovered the north side a few years ago and now come up causing havoc? What is up with this?

On Memorial Day, I did a bike ride from South Shore to Evanston. Passing all the major beaches, everybody out having a good time enjoying themselves, being respectful. 31st St. beach all the black families were out with chill vibes.

Once we get to Ohio St., Oak St., and North Ave beaches, they are overrun by what looks to be like black high schoolers. These are typically fairly white tourist beaches and I’m not one to feel like black kids need to stay “in their place” on the south side as I think many of them would benefit by being exposed to other neighborhoods and other people throughout the city

But damn, the most disrespectful little shyts. Have no regard for no one but themselves. Acting a fool. We can’t even bike on the trail because they stand and block on both sides and won’t move then look at you crazy and curse you out when you try to pass. Got garbage all over the place. We literally had to get off our bikes and walk from Oak Street to North Ave, it was so many kids.

They not up there with their families and are pretty much just terrorizing people. I wanted to fight one of them lil nikkas at North Ave so bad. Just plain disrespectful.

These kids coming up in mass taking over the Mag Mile, Gold Coast, Streeterville, and parts of the Lakefront paths acting a fool and I have yet to see or hear anyone address it besides police upping their presence in the areas.

What is up with these kids and how did this all start?

It’s going to take some white tourist getting beat/mugged for the city to really crack down

Kids in general are not well behaved.

That's why I live around older people.

My wife and I put our condo up for sale last month and got so many offers from couples older than us.


But older people usually have the money to buy for what we're asking. Most young people can't afford a $350k+ commitment, nor do they want one.

It was Memorial Day breh. You're not wrong, but the same thing happens with white youths. I know because I used to live down there and would see it all the time. It really doesnt have much to do with color, and everything to do with being a youth and that they arent locals.

But breh, you don’t legit see a difference? I understand youthfulness and kids being kids, and not to say these white kids can’t be just a belligerent, but I’ve never seen white high school aged mass mobs downtown with exception to when Lolla or something like that is going on. I never see them overtaking the mag mile, stealing and assaulting people, and I never see them loitering en-masse on the lakefront.

Just now, they reported people walking along the lakefront being surrounded by groups of teens and pushed into the water.

If you legit say you don’t see a difference then I won’t bring it up anymore because again, I don’t want the black south and west side kids treated any differently than any of the white kids you say you see acting out equally. Lord knows they get off easy as it is for doing way worse.

Edit: Yeah @Doofy just posted it. It was back back then but that was calculated fukkery. It wouldnt happen like that naturally with young black kids out there. Now I almost got into it with some little nikkas and I dont even know what it was about but unless that 3rd nikka was super nice, they all was gonna get fukked up.
