them playing a low intensity glorified pick up game once every 3 weeks is what exactly?
you talking like these guys in the drew league picking up guys 94 feet tryna put up westbrook numbers 6 days out the week
bro stop it. dudes get hurt training in the off season every single year. him getting hurt was only a matter of time.

Pistons have an organized camp where players work against their teammates and get better, I’m sure every team provides options. Im a fan of the Pistons, and my #1 priority watching the NBA is seeing how my team will get to raise their 4th banner. I don’t give a fukk about the drama, storylines, IG, ESPN headlines, I want players on my team ready to play an 82 game season. If say Cade and Scottie Barnes did the fake bullshyt that Banchero and Dejonte Murray did in Seattle, and started doing pro ams in Dallas and risked my team future, I’d question Cade’s ability to be the player and leader he should be.

this is utter nonsense. they all play pick up games outside of their organization and train without other nba players
you making a big deal about fukkin nothing.
any time you step on a court and do basketball moves you're risking your teams future :mjlol:
literally nothing was going to happen between them two and they resolved it in no time and played each other again. nobody in the nba is really gangsters :mjlol:
ben simmons literally broke a bone in his foot during his first training camp scrimmage....is this somehow better than a low intensity 5 on 5...that they were gonna do anyway in the summer? :mjlol:

Doesn't sound good

Lisfranc injuries tend to damage the cartilage of the midfoot joints. Cartilage covers the ends of bones in the joints, allowing the joints to move smoothly. If severe midfoot injuries are not treated with surgery, then damage to the cartilage and increased stress at the midfoot joints will result in both flatfoot and arthritis, which require complex surgery to correct. Even with successful surgery for the Lisfranc injury, arthritis can still develop in later life.

A Lisfranc injury has a poor prognosis for a complete recovery, even with the correct management. It often leaves significant discomfort and pain around the midfoot and often insoles are required or often further surgery.

Did some googling you are right

Julio Jones fractured his Lisfranc in the 2013 season. His next two seasons were career best at the time (albeit with Roddy White retiring) with 104/1593/6 in 2014 and 136/1871/8 in 2015.

Brian Westbrook injured his Lisfranc in 2005. His next two seasons were career best rushing 240/1217/7 and receiving 77/699/4 in 2006 and rushing 278/1333/7 and receiving 90/771/5 in 2007 while only playing 15 games each season.

Le’Veon Bell suffered a minor injury to his Lisfranc in 2013. His next two seasons he rushed 290/1361/8 and received 83/854/3 in 2014 and rushed 113/556/3 and received 24/136/0 over 6 games in 2015.

MJD injured his Lisfranc in 2012. He only played one full season after that and his production dipped by nearly 50% in 2013 when he rushed 234/803/5 and received 43/314/0.

Santonio Holmes severely injured his Lisfranc in 2012. The next season he had a sharp decline receiving 23/456/1 over 11 games in 2013. In 2014, he played less than 250 snaps and retired.

Cedric Benson injured his Lisfranc in 2012. He never played another snap after that.

Ronnie Brown injured his Lisfranc in 2009. He declined in 2010 by rushing 200/734/5 and receiving 33/242/0. He was relegated to backup duties in 2011 and never regained the job.

After a breakout year, Darren McFadden injured his Lisfranc in 2011. His next season he declined sharply rushing for 215/707/2 and receiving for 42/258/1.

After being drafted 9th overall in 2007, Ted Ginn Jr. injured his Lisfranc prior to his rookie season. He never reached his potential and put up less than 40 catches and 500 yards in 5 of his first 6 seasons while battling injuries.
