This why I'm worried about that French kid Victor. He a generational prospect on talent alone but history not on his side. Ralph Sampson, Yao, KP... It just don't go well for those 7'1+ skinnier players that more finesse and skill based. Yao wasn't skinny actually and played out the post a lot but his knees still got fukked too. There just a certain height where it's hard for ballers to sustain a long career.
That kid Victor either gon be some generational shyt we ain't never seen or follow the trail of those injured what ifs. I can't see no in between where he just good or decent.
In Yao's case, he also was playing year round for like 3 years. After the NBA season, he'd go suit up for China. He was set up to fail.
