They have dope events there for black folks all the time.. You just have to get to know the crowd out there. They had a guy who says he’s J Cole’s photographer out there having an event recently, and last month I went to a dope ass Gallery showing that this sista had at Dupp & Swat out to showcase her pictures and selling stuff. They always have dope stuff out there for real and it’s one of the best places in the city to take pics for the gram and whatnot.

If you don’t mind hanging in Southend then I’d suggest All American Pub especially when a Panthers game is going on. That place is lit!(as the kids would say) They have mad fans of other teams too though.

They were going to build it near the Trader Joe’s out in that area but the neighborhood out there started hating so they pulled back. I think it’s supposed to open at some point though. I’d love for one to open there so I don’t have to drive way to South Charlotte to go.



EDIT: Did y’all see that these fools are going to close the Dairy Queen in Plaza Midwood? Smh. They just can’t stand for us to have some affordable shyt lol. The landlord is supposed to renovate the building when the current tenant moves out. I bet they put that overpriced wack ass Jeni’s ice cream in there smh.

Last weekend I finally went to Shack Shack at Park Road shopping center and got fleeced. :unimpressed:

Didn’t know it’s a scam as everything is priced individually, no combos, so for me and 2 other people, 3 burgers, 3 fries, 3 drinks came up to $50+:what:

That food ain’t nowhere near as good as they want us to think. Milkshakes weak AF too smh. I feel so bad for people who benefit from gentrification... they pay all kinds of money for super overrated ass food.

You can still go to the old Dairy Queen on Wilkinson... Until that one gentrifies too :mjpls:

We were suppose to get one on Mallard Creek Rd., but the site they were gonna build at is the site of a small cemetary, so they couldnt get the permit to dig that all up. It was gonna be right off of exit 46 at I85. Prime location.
