I don't even understand the point of this tweet.

From the beginning I thought HBO got the better of the Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations and I wonder if Espinoza is being salty over that. HBO got the broadcast team they wanted (Lampley, RJJ) and the big coup - getting dual network replay at the same time and not just having the winning network get the replay. Either way in that scenario HBO was going to win IMO . Even if Pacquiao lost they would get to lead in Canelo-Kirkland with Pacquiao-Mayweather. That is HUGE! Canelo is already an excellent draw and now you are guaranteed to have on the "same" card Mayweather-Pacquiao...while Showtime replayed the fight with some Mayweather propoganda.

That doesn't even get to the fact that Canelo-Kirkland was an excellent matchup. Anyone can be a critic after an event, but knowing Kirkland's style and power being matched up to Canelo. It is a win for matchmaking, regardless of results.

and has the defense of a FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT contestant.

I dont know why everyone so high on GGG, it hink he another LUCAS M. an overrated power puncher than is gonna get exposed very soon.

Canelo has the tools to beat GGG. I think he has good enough boxing skill to land some good shots, and is tough enough to back GGG off of him a couple of times.

I was :dwillhuh: At first

Then I noticed your screen name

U must not be aware of ggg pedigree and background...

your stars are but dust on my shoes
I'm saying... people forgot Canelo has 1 loss & that's to a freak of nature fighter... :heh:

We're seeing Canelo mature into a legitimate star, but I feel like some of the pessimism surrounding his career have been warranted. Very questionable wins vs. Trout, Lara (although I think he showed some growth vs. Lara) and also there were some initial concerns over how legit his power was.. Took him 10 to take out Angulo, couldn't knock past it Shane out, and the much smaller Josesito held up decently for 5. The fact that his body work has had noticeable effects against Lara and Kirkland is promising.

Its been cool watching him grow, he's certainly begun refining his best talents, but he's still looking for the bout that will cement him as elite in boxing.

He's leagues ahead of Chavez Jr tho no mistaking that :whoa:

Kirkland either needs a complete rehaul of his style of fight that will include taking much better measures to protect that egg shell attached to the bottom of his face that some refer to as his chin... or just retire before he winds up a vegetable.

Ain't no gravity suit gonna fix the type of chin problems he got :pachaha:

:manny:

He can wear it between fights so he doesn't blow up over 200lbs or he can wear it while training like my GOAT does. He's the only fighter that can wear it for 12 rounds.

what you trying to insinuate?:leostare:

also who is the thot in your avi? :dre:

Let's jus say we respectfully disagree regarding ggg.

He's hittable, but it's the style he fights with. He is a very cerebral fighter and rarely leaves himself open for flush shots. Even more, in order to hit him, a fighter has to plant their feet, leaving themselves open. And no one under 168 can bang with him and trade. Honestly, only ward gives him a loss IMO. Even then, who knows. No one else has shown me anything that suggests they wouldn't crumble under the pressure. Ggg is straight relentless. His heavy hits never stop coming, and he cuts off the ring and never gets tired. He's also shown he can take a solid shot. Dudes a beast.

I would like to see GGG fight Daniel Jacobs next I think that fight would be good for both fighters.

I will admit he does have noticeable flaws but I like the growth he's shown between fights... :yeshrug:

Its bigger than the Floyd/Pac fight. Espinosa is still pissed over Fishnets playing him with Canelo only to jump ship and go to HBO and work with the same ol sheisty Jew that was originally screwing the Golden Cross Dresser with no vaseline. Espinosa just knew GB and Canelo were sticking around, and this was all transpiring around the time of Haymon's non-network power play. Oscar got fukked last year, Espinosa caught it this year.

Regardless of whatever personal animosity between the two, Espinosa's tweet is valid as Kirkland had no business being in there. Walking around at 200 plus three months ago, hasnt fought in well over a year, being trained by some random azz dudes, Ann Wolfe nowhere in sight, etc.. This fight was irresponsible and pathetic. Don't think I'm a Kirkland fan either, or I'm biased because a brother lost to a Mexican. No, this sh!t was just wrong. Golden Cross Dresser had the nerve to express disappointment over the "super fight", but then gets HBO to sell people on an up and coming potential elite squaring off against a marginally prepared tomato can. Canelo and Cross Dresser talkin about, "Kirkland is a threat, a force to be reckoned with, etc." SMH. Fans won't question this matchup because somebody just jumped the line twenty years before those genetically disposed to Parkinsons. The reality is this fight should demand more outrage than last week's super fight.
