Did Andre Ward ever want to come out of retirement? I've been watching some of his interviews and I suspect he wanted to come back, specifically for Canelx.

He said the only time that he seriously considering coming out of retirement if Canelo called him out after he knocked out Kovalev in 2019.

I wonder if all these fighters on Matchroom cards are getting caught because they ARE getting tested.

Or is there something else at play.
You might be onto something. So many techniques in flaunting the game.

Teo just retired. Retired fighters have an out. Do whatever they want, until they go back in camp. This is just one potential tactic. There's a dozen others.

I don't see the correlation, I mean maybe it's just these fighters that appeared on their cards recently that just happened to use more PEDs or they are really just more rigorously tested.

But an intentional foul play? Why? Baumgardner, Cusumano, Whyte, Benn, Helenius

There is no pattern that would suggest they fukk those who went against them or something. Some of these were really painful to them like Whyte, Benn or even Baumgardner, and others like Cusumano and Helenius... MR had just no reason at all to fukk them. So I don't think it's foul play.
I also don't think they intentionally hand out PEDs to their fighters, if anyone is doing that those are trainers, SnC coaches and whoever is involved in the preparation of a fighter.

I think that more testing means that more people are getting found out. OR there is a lot of contamination at the labs being used.

I don't think anything sinister is happening. According to Liam Smith's trainer, nobody came to test for the Eubank fight. I think Dave Allen confirmed this as well.

Watched Mayweather/Maidana 1 again..hr put up a real good fight..especially the first half..bullying...overhead looping rights kind of got through several times but he couldn't follow up afterwards. Center of the ring? Floyd just kept picking him apart easily..he was 37 in this fight. Ultra discipline.

He said he would come back if Canelo had the courage to call him out..Canelo grumbled a few things after Ward's criticisms but didn't directly call him out. Then he ran into Bivol and got humilated.

And Terence Crawford fought him on 2 weeks notice in his first step up fight and handled him succinctly :banderas: :wow:

like i said i wasnt all too impressed with that fight in real time..largely because i was anticipating rios vs alvarado 2 in the main event

crawford beat him but he didnt stop him..i would have liked to see that..esp since mike alvarado was able to do it
