your stars are but dust on my shoes
what i will say about a jose uzcategui and canelo alvarez comparison is that he is a high motor guy and that makes a guy like caleb plant work a little more than he really wants to. canelo can hit him with that counter, but a slow, low volume, loading up one big shot at a time type of fight, is more of a caleb plant type of pace and type of fight.

Well, Canelo isn't exactly David Lemieux in the ring either. He's certainly grown from being the limited, plodding counter puncher he was at 154, to the efficient stalker he is today.

Plant might not have to deal with a high punch output, but he's certainly going to have to work much harder to maintain a steady output of his own, avoiding the big shots, absorbing a consistent body attack, while also staying on the move for a full 12.

I don't see how Caleb doesn't eventually tire out much like Saunders or Kovalev did.

Plant will be tricky early on but that pressure will be too much for him. And his stamina already isn't the greatest. And that's against guys who didn't even target his body. The left hook down stairs will be the money punch for canelo. Then he'll finish him with a straight right up top.

When plants feet start slowing down he becomes too easy to hit and he's got thin skin. He's gonna be a bloody mess by the time the fight is over. I said I'll bet any 5 posters 100 each on this fight or any one poster 500 and I stand by that. But just to up the ante even further. I'm not only willing to bet canelo wins but that he wins by knockout. So even if canelo wins but doesn't get the KO you still get paid:manny:

Bivol is a good fight. I'd have no problem with that fight. Ryder and Gongora is straight doo doo butter though.
Hearn always throwing out some bullshyt:mjlol:.......at this point I just want canelo and haymon to go back to the negotiating table. Make it happen for October or November. Put the ego's aside. This is two guys who are used to getting whatever they want. They just gotta make it happen. It's the fight to make. And it'll be a fun fight to watch. Two skilled boxers with flashy styles. I like bivol but plant is still my number 1 choice. Don't wanna see him lose that belt before canelo gets to him.

Plant is going to be crying a year from now after he sees how much Charlo made from the Canelo fight. While he is the undercard

Glad for Keyshawn with that said these olympic refs are pussies or the rules they follow are ridiculous.

It's like they want boxing but don't want the brutality that comes with it. There's no in between, either fully commit or not at all. No need to protect them like they'd be china, they are adult athletes competing in a blood sport, they prepare similar how the pros prepare too. Amateur boxing rules should be closer to pro boxing rules than they are now, maybe then we wouldn't see successful boxers at the end of their 30s remaining amateur for all their career, winning all these medals instead of young talent.
