damn quillen speaking that real. rare today from these scary athletes.

we do need to wonder why blacks don't support blacks in boxing as much tho.

what is it in your opinion @SuikodenII ? is just black fans are more into nfl/nba? or there is no black showmen/skilled boxer to draw them to the sport?

this is a interesting question that people like to dodge for some reason but we need to talk about it.
I mean look at BATB....

so now you going the divide and conquer route I see:heh:

but you already know that's how we do in the ring. we hold allegiance's to our fighters, not to eachother. and when it's not our fighters, we just speak our opinions objectively. sometimes our opinions are the same, sometimes they arent:yeshrug: ......we can be giving eachother props one moment, then goin ham on eachother the next. it's why the ring is the the goat:smugdraper:
Rep for later

Gotta remember though.. Haglar didn't have a super middleweight division to move up to.. that shyt didn't come around until the very end of his career.. So I cut him slack... Hopkins is the one who waited too fukking long to move up

Super Middleweight Division was around in 1984.....Hagler was only 30 years old.

He fought a couple more years and then retired at 32 years old after SRL. He could've moved up and fought at 168, bc the very next month after Hagler fought SRL, the older Duran was fighting at 168:manny:

Probably wasn't too interested in fighting Hearn/SRL leftovers :jawalrus:

Nah I think he's done at 154-155..(at least for now).. They demanded 155 for ggg cause his dumb ass promoter had said he would be willing to meet at a catchweight then they back peddled.. not to mention the whole "anybody frm 154-168(except SOG) fukkery

my thing is you either stay at 154 and get in the mix with the other young prime nikkas in the division or you stay at 160 and try to earn the best win of your career and get the zero from one of the most dangerous fighters in boxing..fighting a bum at a SMW catchweight is a waste of time

I really don't know.

I know I don't follow nor watch football anymore and barely care about basketball at all. I really don't care about america, and have nothing positive to say about it. To save you from a long rant on my frustrations with america, I'll just say that I support boxing and boxers worldwide. fukking right I send extra support to black athletes, but I don't idolize ANY of these guys, it's just a level of respect because I know that no matter what, we will ALWAYS have something in common..... we'll always be "*******" to the majority of non-black folks, around the world.

I guess too many black folks don't want to believe the bolded statement...

i dont blame you..we live in a world where the cowboys are the best team in the nfl and the raiders made the playoffs after 13-14 years and my eagles havent won a game in 5 weeks :sadbron:...:francis:..its a frustrating time to be a football fan breh

top upsets this year FOR ME

Khurtsidze vs Douglas
Smith vs Fonfara
Indongo vs Troyanovski
Hernandez vs Magomedov
Manyuchi vs Mikhaylenko
Bellew vs Makabu
Vlasov vs Chakiev
Charlo vs J Rock
Shafikov vs Commey
Corrales vs Uchiyama
Frampton vs Santa Cruz (always thought Frampton is a smart, good boxer but I was looking at that reach disadvantage and thought Santa Cruz gonna blast him out)

I don't necessarily mean upset like I was upset about the result (sometimes I was, sometimes I was even glad of it...) but simply results which were not expected to me
