The entire team of Russian heavyweight Alexander Povetkin, who is accused of doping violations, will take a polygraph test this week, his promoter Andrei Ryabinsky said Tuesday.
"The entire team of Povetkin will undergo a polygraph test this week," said Ryabinsky, the head of World of Boxing.
On Saturday, December 17, Povetkin knocked out France's Johann Duhaupas in six rounds. The non-title 10 round fight held in the Russian Urals city of Yekaterinburg.

Povetkin was originally scheduled to face Canada’s Bermane Stiverne for the interim WBC heavyweight title but the fight was canceled after Povetkin’s drug test from December 6th came back positive for Ostarine.
The World Boxing Council said that a probe into Povetkin’s case is ongoing and he can be suspended.
Ostarine is a SARM substance, which athletes use during training. It builds up endurance, like anabolic steroids. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) put SARM substances on its prohibited items list in 2008.
This is the second positive test for Povetkin in the last seven months. He failed a drug test in the lead-up to his scheduled title fight with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder back in May. That fight was also canceled. The last time he tested positive for meldonium, which became a banned substance in January of this year. Povetkin admitted to taking the drug last year when it was legal.
Ryabinsky believes there could be a possibility that Povetkin ingested meat that was tainted with osterine. Mexican fighters Erik Morales and Francisco Vargas made similar claims after failing drug tests, and the same claim was made by heavyweight Lucas Browne earlier this year.
"It is possible that ostarin could enter the body of Alexander through meat," Ryabinsky said. "We are not trying to build a conspiracy theory, but it could very well happen because some animal manufacturers feed their livestock these types of drugs."

I'm gonna comment on this later, I'll @ you when I do, I'm leaving work now so I don't have the time to dive into it...Fonfara>>Pascal IMO, and that geriatric B Hop win lookin funny in the light.
I think he COULD, I'd really have to sit and think (if any of those fights actually got made), if I would choose Stevenson.
If pascal could give Kkkov thea counter left from Stevenson would leave him flatlined. SOG would need to start the fight crisp and not have a dull period like he did against Kkkov. Hard to say how #BeterBeasts chin is due to inactivity and shytty comp. So that's how I see those matchup COULD workout. Not saying they will.
I want #BeterBeast to take the leap next year and fight 3-5 times. I think he's shortly SOGs mando for the IBF, right?
@SuikodenII what you think breh?
Keeping that pressure on em
Just gonna slide in that i finally watched Chisora-Whyte in full and had Chisora winning by a round or at the worst a draw.
