Idc how he looked, stopping a fight when a fighter gets KD the first time and he gets up and there’s only like 2-3 seconds left is a disgrace especially if the said fighter is ahead on the cards.

No I didn’t see the HBO special but doubt it could change my opinion on this anyhow

It’s a good watch.

U think Richard did right in stoping the fight?

well i never thought the stoppage was fishy to me..above all its the ref's job to protect the fighters from themselves and this was a case where taylor had taken an accumulative severe beating..there was a lot of shyt going on though and he did do the right things to see if taylor was straight...he may have fukked up not noticing the round was going to end or was not forceful enough to distract taylor from lou duva..i dont believe any of the conspiracies that steele was looking for a reason to give chavez sr the fight

Never thought I’d see the day Floyd using names for attention. Breh posting about McGregor everyday now it seems.

every fighter usually has that one last great fight in them past their prime :manny:
beat davis and he had a few more good wins. then he ran into terry norris. norris warned taylor, you try to shoe shine me and i am going to walk right through you. he moved up for davis, then he moved up for norris. guess you cant get away doing the same things you used to do with bigger and bigger guys. and thats what really ruined taylor. not chavez.

davis was his last real good win with his actual skill...even before terry beat him up...he was showing signs of slippage in some of those fights...that glenwood brown fight he looked terrible..i think someone posted a gif of taylor doing a shoeshine combo to him in that fight...you are right that he never changed how he fought as a welter and that sped things up from that chavez fight

i dont think so. he was one of those guys who was going to give and take and get into wars he had no business being in. thats just who he was. i stick by terry norris, cause when he got knocked out by norris, he got knocked out again by crisanto espana in a few months. now that is a turning point.

i agree norris and espana were turning points..then he dropped weight to go after sr and that was another beating..then he loses fights to cats ive never even heard of...gotta love philly fighters
