Yeah that should not be PPV, Bob should stop living in the past, Showtime barely ever shows PPV anymore.

However I think if they really appear on the same card they might have some background deal about Crawford vs Pac already. Pac is a veteran, he knows what a situation like this means. He knows that if they will appear on the same card it’s like to set up a fight between them and he wouldn’t take the date if he would be against it.
I think these last few months were about whether Arum can convince Pac to “accept his fate” or not, probably whether he can put enough money down the table for Pac to take the TC fight and if they fight on the same card he might just succeeded and the fight is in play later this year.

It’s kinda annoying how Crawford will only come back after 9 months pause though, they could have put together some keep busy fight for him.

Spence and Crawford dawgs. Neither would be scared or hide from the other.

Not what I said. Deals work both ways...there's a reason why Mikey, Spence, and AJ are getting that bag from Showtime. They are being bid up by HBO since they are "free agents."


That said, what makes you think Spence or any of Showtime's top roster (who they just did a grand roll out for) would be fighting on ESPN? To ignore the networks/business side is lazy, just to say somebody is hiding behind the networks/business. It works both ways.

Only difference is Spence has an abundance of options at 47. That puts Al, Spence and Showtime in the driver seat. They don't have to throw Crawford any opportunities. Which is why I said, they can starve him out and force him to switch sides. That's the real power move here if I'm Al/Showtime .

Why risk giving Top Rank 3 belts at 47 when you have them already and the important pieces of 47.

Well you threw shades on Crawford about Horn and Benavidez (not even sure it’s happening) so I felt it’s only fair...
When Garcia moved up his first 3 fights were against 2 shot fighters and Samuel Vargas and now after the Thurman fight a washed fighter again all that while he is on the PBC side where most of the top welters are.

Crawford can’t really be blamed for not having a bigger win than Postol most of the boxing world understands that. He fough everyone he had to, ducked nobody, left no questions behind, think anything about Postol he was the clear #2 guy in 140 at that time and Bud beat him easily. It can’t be his fault that there were no Khans and prime Matthysses in his divisions. Just as he can’t do anything now about Porter, Swift, Thurman, Spence not being signed to Arum which limits his opportunities for the time being.
