I already said I have no problems with Porter wanting to fight Swiff...its a 3x increase in his recent pay day...dont blame him one bit


However team Porter already waited over a year inactive for the 1st Thurman fight

Knowing that Keith is inactive af N knowing There's a possibility Keith could unify or Skip Porter for the obviously much more lucrative Swift rematch after his Tune up

Why oh why is not fighting again til it's Thurman a wise business decision


especially when you're mr only fight the best...mr fight anybody...mr stay in the gym 24/7...mr I want 4 fights a year??

2 things though, first the he injured himself so him getting back in the ring will probably around the same time Keith getting back after his comeback fight anyway, so around early summer or so
and secondly he´s right in that they shouldn´t fight countless times if they are already mandatories and they fought another time since especially if it´s right in time.

Thurman gets back in the ring against Vargas or whatever as a comeback fight Porter recovers and then they can meet in June or something. except if Thurman injures himself again but let´s hope that doesn´t happen or if it does I´m sure Porter gonna take another fight before.

John David Jackson: Daniel Jacobs not as good as you think he is

In this video interview with FightHub, trainer John David Jackson talks about working with Luis Arias for his fight against Daniel Jacobs this weekend and about how their preparation is coming along. Check it out.

Jackson on how training camp is going:

“Well the preparation for Daniel Jacobs fight with Luis Arias is going very well. He’s on track and he’s doing the things that need to be done in order to be victorious in this fight. One of the main things that we’re working on is the body attack because Luis’ body attack is so tremendous. And Jacobs, while he’s good, he’s a decent fighter — he’s not what they think he is or what he’s made out to be. So the body attack is what we need in this fight.”

On their strategy for fighting Jacobs:

“...to be smart. Listen, break him down systematically. I won’t give you a game plan but he has to be smart and break Daniel down systematically, do what he does best, and just show the world what he does best and let Jacobs do what he thinks he does best — which is not a lot of much.

“Just tune in on November 11th. You’re gonna see a very, very good fight between one promising future world champion and one guy who’s trying to stay on top. The fight fans need to realize Jacobs is good but he’s not as good as the public sees him to be because his manager Al Haymon has done a great job with him. So Luis will be victorious come November 11th.”

He's not pumped on here. Im speaking in terms of the Twitterverse...Jacobs was talked about as if he can beat Canelo bc of the GGG fight and I disagree, but I do think Jacobs is a B+ MW at his very best.

I think Jacobs peaked in the GGG fight, he'll prolly never fight at that level again, but...

He's damn liar most of my fam, former friends and acquaintances.. that are black have never been stopped and searched by the police in out lifetime. However this did occur quite often back in the 80's and early to mid 90's. The Knife crimes has never risen it's always been the same, however, I'm not up to date with the gun crimes. Lastly, that guy is an idiot there is no such thing as black community in the UK there is only black residential areas.
