Showtime viewership is trash
How many people are watching boxing on Showtime at 5pm on a Saturday in America? Folks doing what they do on the weekend, along with the sports fans watching college football.

Don't make me pull up a fight that did more than 334k in the afternoon on Showtime..........and even still, if people missed the fight by not watching it bc they were busy on a Saturday afternoon (as you're hinting at), then what's the excuse for the 309k replay later that evening?

Exactly, I wasn't tripping off of it either. That time frame is a graveyard for boxing, and Joshua hasn't made his bones in America just yet.
i mean pbc had cards that aired in the afternoon and save for a few none of them popped high number ratings like that and they were on non premium channels
Klitschko did 659k viewers vs Joshua on Showtime....in the day time.
None of those fights had the "new cash cow"/"the biggest fighter in the world" in them though.
