you overvalue Swift's "star power" like crazy. There's not so many difference between the fame of these ww dudes as you think. Canelo as an example? Like Swift would be anywhere close to the level of Canelo's star power.

If Garcia really wants that immediate rematch then yeah he should have fought Porter, he even should have called Porter on the phone cause otherwise he has to wait.

None of these fighters are eve top 10 in welter - well arguably 2 of them retired since - and arguably none of them were top 10 when he fought them either. Now he fights Rios who's also not a top 10 guy in ww,.
Garcia basically hasn't beaten any top 10 name in this division since he's there.

Peterson, a controversial win in catchweight is his best win AROUND welterweight but it wasn't even a true welterweight fight.

Rios might would be his best win at 147
