it's cool that he says he doesn't want excuses and that he agreed to fight in 130 but the fans are not dumb we know that divisions exist for a reason and jumping 2 up immediately against the top 1 guy of the division rarely consist in anything else than a loss. Loma don't have to bend backwards for him....he was challenged and he's the A-Side. Loma fights at 130, he doesn't need to go backwards to 126 for Rigo of all people. I could see if it was LSC or somebody like that who brings money to the table and viewers.


Surely didn't see Hagler agreeing to fight Hearns/SRL/Duran at a catchweight, he brought them all up to 160 and beat them all except SRL. Floyd didn't fight Hatton at a catchweight. Loma just following the GOATs blueprint:manny:

Loma fighting Leo Santa Cruz would do more views & attendance than Loma vs Rigo.


LSC's numbers become people actually enjoy his fighting style....he's one of the most entertaining fighters to watch in the sport, bc he always comes to fight.
