rigo is not winning that fight lol
that is literally hbo's worst nightmare

Loma will outweigh him by 20lbs or more prolly so rigo has a chance to get clipped by something big.If rigo can keep distance(which he is the master at) he should win. Rigo would be the noticeably faster fighter and his left is damn near automatic so he should chin check Loma a couple times.

Dan Rafael chat wrap 8/11:

- Davis vs. Lomachenko? Right now Lomachenko would win easily. In a couple years might be more competitive. Davis has a ton of talent, but is still pretty inexperienced.
- A friend of his suggested Broner vs. Khan? Sounds like an interesting fight.
- Will Francisco Vargas win another belt? Hard with how easily he gets cut.
- Current guys who get into the HOF? The just retired Klitschko and JMM. Tim Bradley probably gets in. RJJ and Mosley will when the finally retire. Same with Mayweather. Pacquiao, Cotto, Chocolatito, and Ward all should get in. Believe Donaire has done enough. GGG, Crawford, and Canelo are on the right path.
- Mayweather vs. McGregor undercard is fine. Porter fight is on free TV which is a good think. The Tabiti fight will tell us if he is real. Cleverly-Jack is a legit fight. Good to see Davis.
- Heard that Martinez was replaced as Davis' opponent because he was going to have trouble making weight.
- No insight into whether the commission will allow 8-ounce gloves for Mayweather-McGregor.
- Danny Garcia vs. Victor Ortiz? Could see that happening.
- Canelo vs. GGG has a chance to be a special fight, but we need to see what happens.
- If GGG wins vs. Canelo, very likely he continues at MW to try and break Hopkins MW defense streak.
- Believes Salido will be offered a fight vs. Lomachenko in December for legit money and it will be up to him to take the fight.
- Still rumors of Ward fighting Bellew at CW. Would be a fun fight.
- Is Ward ducking Beterbiev? Ward hasn't ducked anyone and isn't about to start.
- Thoughts on Beterbiev? He has shocking power and a great amateur career, but so far is pro resume is soft.
- Parker vs. Fury may end up on ESPN. Just his personal opinion, no inside knowledge.
- Thoughts on Jarrell Miller's performance? May be in the minority, but for a guy coming off a long layoff thought he looked good.
- Wilder and Joshua will not be fighting on the same card. Could there be a scenario where they fight from different locations on the same telecast? Guesses it is possible.
- James Toney should not be allowed to fight.
- Floyd in his workout looked great as always. He looked fast and bigger than usual.
- The rumor is Lubin vs. Charlo will be on the LSC-Mares 2 undercard. Not 100 percent yet, still working on it.
- PBC has fights planned for: Hurd-Trout, Lara-Gausha, Charlo-Lubin, Benavidez-Gavril (has date, but no site/TV yet). There are also fall fights for Danny Jacob, Wilder and Spence and a possible J Rock Williams-Tony Harrison fight. Probably see more news once Floyd-McGregor is over as that is likely taking up most of Haymon's time.
- Would not be shocked if JDJ remained Kovalev's trainer.
- Doing his own research on who Kovalev could fight next and thinks Radivoje Kalajdzic and Vyacheslav Shabranskyy could be options.
- Sven Ottke retired undefeated and unified two titles and he doesn't get in the HOF because he doesn't deserve it. Broner won't get it, despite being a 4 division champion, because he doesn't deserve it.
- Cotto vs. Lemieux is possible for the fall, but certainly no guarantee.
- Could Wlad have beat Joshua in his prime? Sure. He almost beat Joshua at 41 and a 17-month layoff.
- Will Ortiz fight Wilder or Joshua next? Neither.
- Has a lot of faith in VADA and very little in USADA because of all their loopholes and lack of transparency.
- They are working to finalize Pacquiao vs. Horn 2 for November. Televised on ESPN.
- Supposedly they are still working on a Kessler return.
- Quite sure Mikey Garcia will fight before the end of the year.
- The Microsoft Theatre is only an okay boxing venue. The seats were pretty far back from the ring. The big screens were good.
- Believes if Chocolatito wins he will fight one of the undercard winners (Inoue who should win easily vs. Nieves or the Cuadras-Estrada winner).
- Understands that Lara will be fighting Gausha.
- Morales vs. JMM? Would have leaned JMM.
- Crawford vs. Indongo tickets are very cheap and according to TR almost sold out.
- Will Canelo blow off the IBF weigh-in vs. GGG? Good question.
- TR and HBO are over.
- Rank Morales, Barrera and JMM? 1. JMM, 2. Barrera, 3. Morales.
- Donald Curry for the HOF? He was outstanding. What holds him back was a combination of a lack of resume and a short prime.
- More HOF worthy, Curry or Meldrick Taylor? Curry.
- Believes Showtime probably paid about $2 million or maybe a little more to show Broner vs. Garcia.
- Is Mikey Garcia going to fight Crawford or Lomachenko next? No.

shyt vargas is prolly done..never mind a cut :heh:

it does and it should happen next

chocolatito :patrice:...hmmmm

- Heard that Martinez was replaced as Davis' opponent because he was going to have trouble making weight.
another person that needs a mean warmup instead of being tank's punching bag

- Danny Garcia vs. Victor Ortiz? Could see that happening.
:ehh: i wont be mad at it

- James Toney should not be allowed to fight.
agreed :to: boxing has damaged this man..particularly having a GOAT chin and going up too much in weight

- Sven Ottke retired undefeated and unified two titles and he doesn't get in the HOF because he doesn't deserve it. Broner won't get it, despite being a 4 division champion, because he doesn't deserve it.
agreed...ottke should never get into the hall of fame..fukk him

- Will Canelo blow off the IBF weigh-in vs. GGG? Good question.
if he does wouldn't GGG just retain the belt but then WBC belt if he loses goes vacant

- Donald Curry for the HOF? He was outstanding. What holds him back was a combination of a lack of resume and a short prime.
- More HOF worthy, Curry or Meldrick Taylor? Curry.

agreed on both answers

The thing is that Rigo doesn't have to be clipped by something big to be put down. I can't imagine a way he manages to last 12 rounds against a fighter who not only outweighs him, but is also as skilled as Loma is.

Rigo is an absolute talent to watch, but there's just no way I can see him lasting a full 12.

Rigo and his team feel like it can be done so im sure his team wouldn't lead him to a slaughterhouse.

Or it could be the small possibility that Rigo is cashing out the last big payday and retire knowing he will be too much outsized to win and go out in his shield. You never know in boxing :yeshrug:

I got faith in Rigo that he can overcome the size difference.:blessed:
