Lipinets is a scrappy brawler, not bad but won't be better than B level
Prograis would take him out imo

Indongo hasnt faced a B fighter though imo, so that's why i said it would have still been a tough fight for him.

Prograis can take all of them out it seems. I like him thus far:obama:

He had 2 easy fights to win the belt:manny:

And no, he wouldnt have been able to chill bc if he didnt face Crawford, he'd have had to face Sergey Lipinets....and Lipinets taking people's heads off:

Him vs Walter Castillo (Devon Alexander next opponent:

Him in general:

Lipinets been putting in work on these PBC telecasts, not just over in Russia beating up cans like Troyanovsky, and is a good boxer-puncher with visible power (you can see his shots hurting people by their immediate reactions). Indongo wouldve had a tough fight vs him, so either way...he was going in tough regardless next. Crawford elite, but Lipinets seems to be the goods at 140 too.

He would have had to face a mandatory ? No possibility for fighting a "can" at home ?

Nope. He wouldve had to do the mandatory defense that's due to Lipinets for the IBF belt.

The IBF only made the exception bc of its a unification, but if not for that, he wouldve been in vs Lipinets next which would be a tough fight. Winnable, but tough.

Troyanovski was rated pretty high around that time, that's a good win for him

Troyanovsky is not a good fighter though. He was ranked too high. His resume doesnt reflect where he was ranked and neither did his fight vs Indongo....where he was KOd on the 1st punch Indongo threw:dead:

Indongo aint even got power like that:heh:

Who should have been ranked above him though...? Out of those who were ranked below him
he was't the monster some people made him out to be but at this point I wouldn't put Lipinets above him yet, I mean above where Troyanovski was before Indongo, Lipinets also has a paper thin resume.

Your eyes tell you that an already 37 year old Russian you've never seen win a fight, all his Ws come in Russia, his biggest wins are over an Italian who beat nobody himself & who's punching power made Malignaggi's seem like GGG's, only to face a light hitter in Indongo and get KOd by the 1st punch Indongo landed.....all that lets you know Troyanovsky was smoke & mirrors.

Troyanovsky has never been better than Lipinets & was never a real top 140 fighter to be ranked wherever he was.

I've seen him fighting :comeon:
my eyes tells me that he was/is a solid pressure fighter but nothing crazy
about Lipinets my eyes tell me that he is a solid brawler but nothing crazy

I'd pick Indongo comfortably over Lipinets too

I never argued that Troyanovski was an elite talent but due to his rank and belt he was a good win and I don't really think that Lipinets is so much better
