True, but on the flip side, don't act all brand new when fans,media, and your peers don't think you're as great as you think you are.

You can make good fights and good money. It doesn't have to be either or.

Of course the best fights are gonna net u the best money. I just wish more boxers were self aware and understood that calling out someone much bigger than u is a waste of time in most cases. The best thing to do is to make yourself hot by fighting other nikkas on the come up and the cash cow will come to u

Wilder vs joshua is a toss up for me. I think aj will force Hearn's hand ala canelo and Oscar. By late 2018 I think aj will fight wilder. In the meantime let's hope wlad wins so we get a trilogy. :blessed:

Roach saying he hasn't been paid yet, Pacquiao says he hasn't either :lolbron:

After the contest was over at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Roach claims that Pacquiao wouldn't even say two words to him or look him in the eyes. Roach also claims that he's yet to be paid for his work in the fight.

“I was trying to see where his head was at, and I could not even get him to say hi to me. I don’t know if he was upset with me or what,” Roach told Sports Illustrated.

“I really don’t know if he’s mad at me. But I can tell you this: I haven’t been paid yet. So who knows?”

Pacquiao issued a statement, letting everyone know that Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is in charge of paying Roach. And the boxer revealed that he hasn't been paid either. He also denied that there was any friction with his long-time trainer.

"My purse has not yet been released by Arum," said Pacquiao. "I have no problem with coach Freddie Roach. I'm not the one paying him. It's Bob Arum. So if coach Freddie has not yet received his payment, we are on the same boat."

The actions of the other top title holders in the division and their promoters/managers vis a vis Wilder, prove otherwise.

Don't tell me he's a "bum"...and don't give me no lip service about Wilder losing fantasy fights with these dudes. Tell em get in the ring and prove it.

You don't let a "bum" hold a world title hostage, while being called out by said "bum" while at the same time taking/planning fights with clearly lesser opponents.

Joshua has been saying he doesn't need to jump right in to a fight with Wilder since 2016...and it needs to be "built up"

Why do you need to "build up" a fight with an (alleged) "bum" :heh:

Take the fight, take his title and get his ass out the way if he's a "bum"...you don't stall off and say "one day down the line we have to fight" while being willing to fight dudes like Parker right away :dead:

(alleged) boxing fans making excuses as to why title holders shouldn't face eachother :dead:
