:whew:
Wasn't there a thread in the Coliseum claiming no one cared about this fight and it was gonna be a flop?
Dudes let their stanning for Floyd and hatred of Manny by osmosis cloud their better judgment.

Agreed on all points. Mikey slow calculated style plays into AB's hands. But for whatever reason people think AB won't be focused and ready to go. We just gotta prove them wrong
In your own words, how does it play exactly into ABs hands? Don't afraid to be detailed.

Automatic SAS response is warranted

Like I said the boxing media is unfairly targeting SAS who anybody with a half mind know is a casual and appeals to casuals. It was in ESPN and Top Rank best interests to have arguably the most recognizable sports talking head cover this fight to be real. Bailey and Funeka really was nobodys outside of hardcore fans. I only heard of Funeka name wise and I just got into boxing around the time Bailey sent Mike Jones to the bushes never to be heard from again :wow:.

I just dnt see the big deal when the most politically correct thing SAS could've said was that "Horn beat a washed up version of Randall Bailey and Funeka" That's not too much better than saying there nobodies. :yeshrug:

Perhaps cuz Spence already had a fight date scheduled in Texas?? Perhaps cuz Swift wanted a rematch against the person he just lost a split decision to?? :ohhh:

A sides don't travel to an opps hometown...when they don't even draw in they own home town like that :mjlol:

Swift gotta bring the $$$$, Bring the fans, bring the tv views AND fight in Texas immediately after a L to Thurman:picard:...the standards the great ones get held to :wow:
Right now today Spence doesn't have a fight date scheduled, and he certainly didn't have one when he mentioned Garcia in early June as a potential opponent. Garcia knows he ain't getting a rematch no time soon with One Time A Year Thurman and he wasn't even talking up one in the media, when you got nikkas in Garcia's own hometown sending subliminals I think its time to deactivate the autostan protection for the time being.

I had the far bigger issue with him post fight spewing nonsense about UFC not having shytty decisions and Dana White regulating that from the UFC, UFC and the higher levels of MMA may not have the corruption that boxing does with the promoters and sanctioning bodies involved but they certainly do have shytty judging, they use the same judges and commissions that boxing does. Adalaide Byrd be having garbage scorecards in MMA just like she does with boxing. With Arum's past beef with Dana White and his comments about MMA I can't imagine SAS's comments sitting well with him, and with TR putting these fights on ESPN its not a good look to have this dude trashing the product.

Cool.

Adrien broner is the type of boxer u don't want to give time and space to. The reason ab thrives when u give him time and space is because his speed and reflexes combined with creative punching angles can be deadly. Especially at 140 a weight in which AB has shown a very good punch. Mikey's biggest problem is gonna be his personality. Mikey is a laid back thinking man and that means he hates to miss punches..think about it mikey always is patient and responsible in the ring. That's a weakness against ab especially when u not nearly as athletic or creative with your punches. If mikey allows ab time to pick out his shots and space to fire off counters then he won't win.

Another important factor is the fact that adrien has SEVERELY underrated defense. The only time he was hurt was against an awkward pressure fighter. And Chino was getting laced with hard counters just like grandados. The only guy to fight AB without taking a shyt ton of counters was porter. Who footspeed and athletic ability played a key in their fight. AB struggled with the way shawn would lunge in. Mikey cannot do that and he is not really what uli would call awkward so hitting AB up top early is not gonna happen. His best bet is the paulie plan of a sustained body attack. Only problem with that plan is AB will land that check left hook if u go to his rib cage. When Mikey eats a couple of those he not gonna want to pressure AB. And if the fight evolves into a slow, methodoval chess match. Im taking the bigger more athletic, and more creative fighter every time. Tbh I think there is a reason mikey got smoked by t craw in the ams. His textbook style is not a good look against AA fighters.

True true that was some typical MMA fan boy shyt. Yea you right he was kind of shytting on boxing on a national stage. So maybe it wasn't in Arum best interests after all. They probably is going to talk to him about that.

Risk vs reward. If spence was pulling in big money nikkas would be tripping over their feet to fight him. What would beating spence do for the established ww? The narrative will be that spence only beat a ruined brook and spence was all hype. If u in the position of Garcia or Thurman u need to chase the money and a spence fight not going anywhere. If he nice like y'all say he is, then he will become a star and everyone in his division will want that fight. These are pro fighters that risk their lives for our entertainment, u really think they scared of abother man? It's called doing what's best for your career.
