Rigo-Loma is a main event fight though that boy needs to see 500-750 k

Not when he took 120k to defend his championship, in the co-main on PPV, against an undefeated opponent



He shortchanged himself, and it's going to bite him....especially being his promoter, at the time, was the one who paid him. No way can you jump from 120k to 750k in your very next fight on ESPN when you couldn't get even 500k to co-main a PPV being put on by YOUR promoter



#ShowMeTheMoney means he wants bread, which I don't doubt, but THAT'S the reason the fight wont come off....he played himself vs Flores with accepting that purse and think he's gonna get "what he deserves" vs Loma, but he's not gonna get 500k+


Loma himself hasn't even received a $1 million dollar payday yet, as far as I know, so asking for Rigo to get anywhere near that, when he just was paid $120k in his last fight, is delusional to me

Agree. Look at Loma's history, he isn't ducking Rigo who would be moving up 8 lbs. Now Bob Arum on the other hand, I wouldn't put it past him to not pass along all the info to Loma's team or just outright try to fukk over Rigo, since we know TR and HBO want nothing to do with Rigo business wise.

Remember back in the Mayweather-Pacquiao days, Floyd was styling over Koncz because he was acting like he had a say. Floyd knew Koncz had zero authority, it was all Arum. Same here, Arum is the one who has to set everything up...and if it is fighting Rigo, he absolutely will have to do everything for the event because Rigo's promotion has been bad. If Arum really wants it he should put it on this new network gig he is setting up. HBO has no budget and they probably would laugh at the idea of giving any of it to Rigo.

Well i mean i dont think asking for $400k would be asking for too much considering the magnitude of this (potential) fight.

Agree "ish". This fight is a hardcore fans dream, but financially a dud. Neither guy can really afford to ask for career high paydays, even though the skill of the opponent may warrant it, but the popularity of the fight won't. As long as both guys get a fair offer you have to take it. Loma has moved himself into that pay range becoming one of Arum's "guys", Arum will have to come up with it. Rigo to many of his fans will deserve the same as Loma, but the issue is no one wants to pay him what he or his fan base feel he deserves. Although I sympathize and due to the quality of the event would want Rigo to get paid as much as possible, if you look at his track record of paydays and ratings, if he turned down a $400-500K offer .

ironically, people forget that and acting like Klimas can actually set fights for Loma


Klimas couldn't sign for Kovalev vs Ward 1 or 2, and he cant sign for Loma vs Rigo. Only TR can do that, but being that Rigo is promoter-less again, there's really no one for them to negoatiate with......which means Rigo really aint gonna get much from Arum. The 120k to comain the PPV sealed his fate. Thank Rigo & his manager for accepting that disrespectful payday

Right. People acting like Rigo has earned more than that when he cant draw at all. Even "Leer Jet Lara" looking at Rigo's numbers like and wondering why he didn't come get that PBC money too.

Rigbum has a right to want more money but he gotta realize that he might not get another opportunity to fight loma. If I was him I would have taken the 350k at 126 they offered a year ago
